Your role – Creative Producer

We are seeking a Creative Producer on a Freelance/FTC basis to join the studio to provide and manage creative production across a range of projects within the areas of creative, design, and 3D build. Working alongside a team of creatives, Project Managers and external suppliers, the role will focus on delivering outstanding creative and design in order to support and develop the company’s capability to execute spectacular experiences that cannot be experienced elsewhere. There is possibility for this position to be made permanent for the right candidate.

The position is a cross-disciplinary role which is responsible for turning creative into reality through production that sits within budgetary, operational and timing parameters.

Objectives for this Role

The Creative Producer will be responsible for leading all stages of the production process from initial feasibility, planning, development to on-site install, maintenance and de-rig. This role will play a key, hands on, collaborative role, managing creative production across the studio and see it brought to life in engaging, safe and innovative ways that continually entertains

Production

  • Be responsible for the production and build of projects, managing all technical production requirements from brief to ideation, on-site installation, maintenance and de-rig.
  • Interrogate the brief with the Project Manager, and work collaboratively to develop the creative, scope, clarify and develop the technical design managing the necessary resources and budget to the point of contracting, production and installation
  • Be responsible for all H&S affecting the design, installation and operations
  • Manage all technical production requirements
  • Prepare and manage production timelines
  • Source suitable external suppliers such as fabricators and technicians
  • Manage relationships with third party contractors and suppliers to ensure creative and design is manifested as envisioned
  • Ensure that the design content can be delivered on time and on budget using high production values

Creative

  • Work with the wider studio team to develop ideas, creative propositions and offer measurable strategic solutions to client briefs as well as advise on creative solutions to ad-hoc project challenges.
  • Contribute to the creative process encompassing event and product ideas.
  • Continually look for and suggest external talent that we can collaborate with and build a trusted network of preferred suppliers and collaborators.

Compliance

  • Manage contractor risk, including vetting of suppliers and methods on-site
  • Produce Design Risk Assessments at early stages of projects and update throughout design and build process
  • Produce RAMS for installation work being carried out by B&P Studio

Financial responsibilities

  • Work within set budgetary restrictions and identify where production costs can be made
  • Input and source production costs for client quotes
  • Provide project financial reports for client and internal use
  • Negotiate and contract third party suppliers
  • Reconcile commercial and personal expenses once a month
  • Identify and solve problems that affect project profit and liaise with team members to resolve issues promptly

About you

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for events and approach tasks with adaptability and flexibility. We want someone who can show ownership of achieving personal objectives through positive action. This role will require someone to have best-in-class interpersonal skills that can communicate regularly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Working well as a team and helping one another to deliver projects and overcome hurdles is key at Bompas & Parr, so it is important that the right candidate can seek support at the earliest opportunity should problems arise as well as support their team when needed. The ideal candidate will have be a beacon for creative collaboration and excellence that can actively contribute to the ongoing creative life of the studio.

Essential Experience

  • At least six years’ experience in event production and client services, delivering solutions in an agency environment, operating at a senior level
  • Proficiency in CAD (preferably Rhino)
  • Outstanding presentation skills and ability to articulate creative ideas with flair
  • Writing experience; creative rationale for proposals and explanation of consumer journeys and experience
  • Master proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google apps, Keynote and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience of managing installs for events
  • High level of self-motivation, discretion, diligence and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and schedule in a fast-paced studio environment
  • Ability to guide and steer away from project bottlenecks and guide internal teams across multiple work streams and cross-discipline projects

Influencer Marketing:

  • Identify and develop relationships with the right KOLs in the UK market
  • Maintain a influencer database, recording all influencers approached, worked with and feedback regarding performance and content creation

Press Releases:

  • In cooperation with the Country Lead and external parties organise Press Releases in line the marketing plan
  • Brief and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns written by copywriter.

Events:

  • Supporting in executing main events based in London by working alongside internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the event is successful.
  • Support Country Lead with cross brand collaborations when needed.
  • Plan and organise campaign photoshoots, keeping the budget tracker up-to-date and processing any invoices

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 1-3 years of working experience in the world of modest fashion
  • Business development and partnerships – you know how to build relationships with external stakeholders ie. influencers, PR agencies, and more
  • Event management – you plan and coordinate to make an event successful
  • Able to work productively in a remote and international setting as you will have teams across the globe

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

We are looking for a talented and strategic Creative Producer that will help drive projects from brief to final delivery across film, theatre and lifestyle campaigns.

You’ll have a strong history of producing high-quality video content for various mediums and clients, with a primary focus on social, DOOH and broadcast.

In this role you’ll have to multitask confidently and bridge the gap between project management, creative decision making and client relations.

Reporting to the Head of Department, you will also play a pivotal role in our business growth. You’ll lead client presentations, identify and pursue new opportunities, help create pitching materials and foster client relationships with existing and potential new clients.

The Role

  • Interpret client requirements and lead the creative direction to develop and execute the look and feel of our clients’ content (e.g. online promos, TV spots, social videos, animations, junkets, social content, DOOH).
  • Provide articulate and concise peer-to-peer feedback for all deliverables to enhance creative output throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Own the communication with clients from start to finish, providing regular updates, and building a strong and lasting relationship.
  • Confidently drive multiple projects simultaneously within quick turnarounds and against budget.
  • Coordinate with the Production Manager and other Creative team members to ensure a smooth running of projects and capacity planning.
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise and offer solutions to improve processes.
  • Review/QC finished work to ensure the final output meets the original brief, transcripts, delivery specs and brand guidelines.
  • Produce quotes and monitor resources dedicated to each project.
  • Participate in creative brainstorms, develop presentations and treatments, lead client pitches.

Requirements

You have 3+ years of experience crafting compelling AV content at a creative agency, advertising agency, in-house creative team or post-production house.

You are an “ideas” person who can conceptualise and produce smart, clever, innovative content for a variety of media. You will not be expected to create content yourself, but you’ll definitely possess a great sense of aesthetic design and video editing.

You should be an expert in delivering projects on time, on budget and on brief, through proactive and appropriate end-to-end management of project scope and resource.You are extremely organised, resourceful and confident in your ability to perform under pressure.

You also show a collaborative spirit when working with other creatives.You’ll be QCing all the work produced, so you’ve got a track record of great attention to detail.

You’ve got experience creating quotes and managing basic billing duties.

You possess a good understanding of what works across online advertising and social media.

You naturally keep up with the latest trends.You’re a self-motivated and driven professional, hungry for opportunities, and who doesn’t mind going the extra mile to take projects over the line or help others.

This is a highly client-facing role, so you’re a great communicator and have demonstrable experience in building client relationships in a previous production or creative role. Some experience in sales or new business is a bonus.

You have experience in both Production and Post-production, and have worked closely with film crew, motion graphic designers, editors and sound operators

Desirable

Previous experience producing content for entertainment is a strong bonus.

A background in project management or account management, desirable.

Experience with on-set production would be a plus, but not required as the majority of projects will focus on post-production.
