Set in the near future, Danny Echo shows us what happens when young widow Rachel says yes.
Exploring the messy experience of grief with typical wit and honestly, Cody Daigle-Orians’ new play is our most ambitious product yet.
We are huge grateful to the brilliant Lawrence Batley Theatre for their support.
Audition Dates: May 5-6 (eveninigs) and May 7-8 (daytime), Huddersfield.
Peroformances: October 12-14, Lawrence Batley Theatre.
Rehearsal dates : TBC in the late August, September and october, likely to be mostly in Huddersfield.
What we are searching for:
Danny:
- Male 27-33 years old
- Any ethnicity
- Creative, funny, life and soul of the party. This caharacter is an Ai version of the dead Danny but is in no way played as a machine.
- This is a very challenging role for a patient actor, with repeated section of dialogue and action that are highly emotive and need to be identical each time they are played.

A new feature film is seeking boys aged 5–8 from the Black Country for an exciting upcoming production. This is a great opportunity for young performers to gain on-set experience and take part in a major film project. No previous acting experience is necessary—just natural personality, confidence, and enthusiasm.
Job Responsibilities

Participate in filming scenes under the direction of the production team

Follow guidance from directors and on-set crew

Work professionally while maintaining focus and enthusiasm during filming days
