Casting Call: Kids for Lead Roles in Upcoming Narnia Film

Job Description:
A new Narnia film directed by Oscar-nominated Greta Gerwig is casting two exceptionally talented kids—a boy and a girl—to play lead roles. This is an incredible opportunity to star in a major production from the acclaimed director of Barbie, Little Women, and Lady Bird. The film will rehearse and shoot in the UK from June through Christmas 2025. No prior acting experience is necessary, and all young actors are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray key characters in the Narnia universe with authenticity and depth
• Participate in rehearsals and filming, following direction from the director and production team
• Deliver engaging and emotional performances suitable for a major feature film

Requirements:

• Boys and girls aged 10-11 years old
• Must be available to rehearse and shoot in the UK from June to Christmas 2025
• Parental consent is required for all submissions

We are looking for an actor or first-time actor to play an inter-sex role in an independent feature film. We are looking for authentic portrayal and are very open to intersex or trans actors.

Playing age is 40-75 years old

We are particularly keen to cast a person of colour who could originate from a country where there is a significant Catholic population. The person is a modest, quiet character. 

Some with absolute, if genuinely humble, self possesion beneath which lies a sure sense of purpose.

Shooting in Rome from January – March 2022.
