A character who has to change who they are constantly, always to appease the different social groups they are moving between – someone who understands the pressure to conform, and the harm it can do. They are a charismatic and transgressive drag performer, who needs to learn to embrace both the power they feel on stage and their underlying vulnerability, or else face fractures in their identity.
