Digital Creative Director

What will your day to day look like?

• Partner with our front-end developer to fully understand the capabilities and limitations of our systems, and effectively direct the design within the parameters of our content management systems.

• Overseeing the timeline, planning, creation, and implementation of integrated marketing strategies to support the various needs of clients through email marketing, media buying, landing pages, and websites, and content strategy across various digital platforms.

Background Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with work experience in the same field

• 6+ years of experience of art direction at a senior level specifically with a focus on high quality web design, content strategy, and digital campaigns

• Experience across multiple digital channels, including but not limited to websites, email marketing, digital media, social, mobile, and in-app marketing.

• Content planning and management for digital and social media campaigns.

• Eagerness to thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial agency environment.

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, custom theme development, prototyping tools, Figma/and or Sketch

• Working knowledge of SEO keyword research and analytic storytelling and paid ad is a huge plus

FIGS is looking for an Art Director to own our Campaigns and Content. This role will support our Brand Creative team and partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Product and Marketing. We are searching for someone who views content as an opportunity to extract the most visually rich and conceptually unique way of communicating an idea. Our ideal candidate has stellar communication skills, loves the challenge of creating engaging video and photography content, and can simplify complex product briefs into delightful, actionable content. This role will report into one of our Creative Directors.

What you’ll do:

  • As an Art Director, you will build upon our existing marketing initiatives by evolving the FIGS brand. Working closely with other creative team members and outside agency support, you will help create deliverables that evolve and push the brand
  • Work side-by-side with writers and graphic designers to develop language and visuals that are clear and effective
  • Mentor talented creatives, motivating, guiding, and influencing not just the work, but their personal growth and career development
  • Work with external studios to produce libraries of new assets

Pay Range

At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role’s base salary range is between $91,000 and $130,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $113,00 – $174,500. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. The Executive Producer is responsible for making sure all our client projects are released on time and within budget. As the Executive Producer, you are ultimately responsible for our clients AAA projects and your goal will be to manage development from concept through to release and delivery of a high-quality engaging game for various platforms. You will be collaborating with global teams, management, internal, and external stakeholders.

As an Executive Producers you will be an engaging communicator, creative problem solver, and thoughtful collaborator. You will use your depth of experience across all facets of game development, providing vision and clarity across the production process, ensuring all the pieces fit thoughtfully together, so we can deliver the unique and memorably gaming experiences our clients fans demand.

As our Executive Producer, you will help drive the development team towards their production goals, determine resource requirements, and manage various risks to any of our client projects.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for game’s full development cycle, where you lead the development and champion the product’s vision to the team.

  • Responsible for the P/L of the games and that the games reaches agreed goals.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years experience as a Producer within game development production, where at least 4 years be in a position with management experience;
  • At least three released and successful games as Executive Producer, Senior Producer, Game Director, or similar.
  • Previous experience applying Agile methodologies to game development projects.
  • Ability to gain and maintain the respect and trust of development teams through thoughtful discussion and perseverance.
  • Persuasive communication skills, able to diplomatically and effectively negotiate efficient solutions across cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort with a variety of project management tools and methodologies, able to fluidly move between systems and approaches.
  • You understand and have hands-on knowledge of all aspects of game production from concept through live operations.
  • Proven leadership skills, with an inspiring, enthusiastic spirit for collaborative teamwork.
  • Credit on at least three shipped games as Producer or above or been involved with two projects through a complete development cycle.
  • Has directly led a full or significant part of a development team as a senior producer or similar management role.
  • Extensive knowledge in game and software development methods.

  • Great problem solving skills and ability to motivate others to find solutions in new and dynamic environments.
  • Ability to lead teams of 20+ individuals in different Time Zones.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Creative Director to lead the company’s creative department.

What you’ll do:

• Work with the marketing team to produce new ideas for company branding, promotional campaigns, and marketing communications.

• Evaluate trends, assess new data and keep up-to-date with the latest marketing techniques. • Create and implement tailored plans based on each of our product vertical needs.

• Direct brainstorming meetings and creative sessions.

• Shape brand standards and create procedures to ensure all products are brand appropriate. • Supervise the department’s daily workflow, assign project workload, and monitor deadlines and budgets.

• Develop exceptional and well-crafted copy that meet our requirements.

What we’re looking for:

• A hands-on builder who is capable of designing promotions, seeing ideas to fruition and operating in a fast-moving and constantly changing environment

• A minimum of 5 years’ digital experience, particularly with, but not limited to web, social and emerging technologies.

• A solid understanding of design, copy and web practices.

The Role

As a Senior Art Director, crafting creative concepts that translate visually is your bread and butter. You are an original thinker and a team player—matching strategic direction with appropriate creative results across all channels. In addition to creativity, keen attention to detail makes your work stellar. Also, you want to keep learning, but you want leadership experience, too.

Responsibilities:

· Contribute to strategic direction/creative briefs as appropriate

· Conceive, develop and present creative and design concepts.

· Strong abilities in adapting and customizing concepts appropriately across a multitude of channels

· Manage creative projects from concept to final delivery, with collaboration being a key component to your approach through this process

· Ensure quality control of your work.

· Collaborating effectively as a creative partner with writers, internal teams such as media, social media, web/digital, and clients.

· Work with production manager to source photographers, illustrators and external resources as required.

· Review junior creatives and studio work and drafts to ensure quality.

• Interact with clients, whether in person or remotely.

Requirements:

· 7+ years’ experience within a creative agency.

· Develop creative concepts and design work for wide range of clients and mediums.

· Familiar with agency processes.

· Can responsibility run projects from beginning to end.

· Think strategically, identify breakthrough concepts and ideas, and ways to bring them to life.

· Demonstrate a clear understanding of campaign objectives and strategies to achieve them.

· Web design and knowledge of UX/UI design best practices.

· Manage projects with limited input from a Creative Director.

· Balance creative with client business requirements.

· Visualize and verbalize creative concepts to team and client.

· Ensure that Trampoline stays progressive and innovative in all stages of creative; from research to development.

· Proficient in Mac operating systems and Adobe Creative Suite (animation and/or film editing will be considered an asset).

FOX61 in Hartford, Connecticut is seeking a creative and ambitious newsroom leader to help transform our 7-hour morning show. The Executive Producer will work with a team including a co-executive producer, producers, reporters, photographers and digital content producers to craft impactful content that is highly engaging and memorable. Responsibilities

  • Manage team of anchors, producers, reporters, meteorologists, photojournalists, digital content producers and editors
  • Work closely with Co-Executive Producer, Assistant News Director, Digital Director and Managing Editor on daily and future assignments
  • Contribute to editorial process and make solid decisions in breaking news situations
  • Review and approve scripts and rundowns to ensure accuracy and quality in accordance with stations guidelines
  • Lead all aspects of additional assigned special projects from inception to completion
  • Assist in scheduling of assigned direct reports
  • Regularly critique newscasts with the staff, both as a team and with individual producers
  • Execute strategies that engage and grow audiences across all platforms
  • Work collaboratively with other managers
  • Perform other essential functions as assigned

Requirements

  • At least three years of newsroom leadership experience preferred as an executive producer, assistant news director or news director
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including holidays, mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Experience successfully leading teams through content transformation
  • Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of AP ENPS, Edius and content management systems a plus
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work under constant time-sensitive deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism, communications or related field a plus
