Description

• Help guide the creative development for all show marketing materials and brand design elements

• Help manage the development of key art for all shows including building and organizing key art presentations for upper management

• Help guide the creative direction for promotional materials for concept development, creative direction, and tactical executions

• Help oversee relationships with outside creative agencies, providing direction and revisions on comp explorations, reviewing proofs and approving mechanicals

• Oversee production calendars and provide needed direction for projects, flagging potential issues and ensuring our team is able to meet various deadlines

• Play a key role in creative brainstorming on a wide-range of campaigns across marketing and product

• Articulate creative plans across our cross-functional teams and senior leadership, including Talent, EPs, Creative Leaders, etc

Running Subway Productions is seeking an Exhibition Producer to lead the development, execution, and oversight of live entertainment assets across North America. This key role in our leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO, involves orchestrating various properties, including museum exhibitions, and incubating new creative ventures.

The ideal candidate will have experience in exhibition production and management, with a background in museums considered a significant asset but not required. We value a deep understanding of event operations, audience engagement, and the ability to integrate artistic vision with operational excellence to produce compelling and resonant shows. While it is preferable for the candidate to work from our New York office, this is not required. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead production from concept to execution, aligning with both museum standards and visitor expectations when applicable.
  • Serve as the primary liaison among museum professionals, general managers, intellectual/physical property owners, production teams, and creative partners.
  • Evaluate projects for financial viability and cultural impact, leading decision-making processes.
  • Negotiate partnerships, manage contracts, and oversee the development of investment materials, maintaining alignment with industry norms.
  • Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and financial management, working with both external and internal teams.
  • Develop strategies for recurring exhibitions, ensuring a dynamic and engaging presence.
  • Serve as the primary museum/venue contact when necessary, managing correspondence, contracts, and stakeholder relations.
  • Manage the production lifecycle from planning through de-installation.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in exhibition production and management, events, or a related field. 
  • Demonstrated leadership in museum, exhibition, or comparable settings, showcasing a portfolio of successfully launched and managed projects.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with adaptability to various sectors.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage budgets.
  • A strategic thinker known for innovative problem-solving and robust project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft, Google, and accounting applications relevant to museum and exhibition management.

Our client, a leading New York-based creative agency (specializing in fashion, lifestyle, luxury branding and communications) is looking for a Creative Director on a 3-6 month project working on the 360 view of a campaign for a luxury retailer/fashion house. This job will be located in the New York.

Responsibilities:

  • Bring a consistent brand vision to life across all major consumer touch-points
  • Concept and execute campaign ideas for new product launches
  • Translate approved campaign master creative concepts and layouts into various sizes and formats needed while maintaining the original creative intent
  • Concept, create and deliver strong design solutions across various branded materials, including but not limited to: email, website content, in-store and professional channels
  • Develop a consistent, elevated look and feel for the brand with clear guidelines.
