About The Team
Crunchyroll Games is a new division of Crunchyroll passionate about bringing the best of anime and anime-look games to Crunchyroll’s global audience. We work with a variety of global and domestic partners to help publish games to over 100+ countries, and bring more fans into the anime games ecosystem. Our team is composed of anime enthusiasts, authorities within gaming, and mash-ups of keenly intelligent and driven individuals. We are highly collaborative, and closely with external content providers and licensors to develop and promote mobile games for the Crunchyroll community.
The Crunchyroll Games team is growing fast! We are a cross-functional team of highly-motivated people spanning several internal departments — from Business to Marketing to Audience Development to Design. The team works closely with external content providers and licensors to develop and promote mobile games for the Crunchyroll community. We deploy a large scale budget against a wide array of paid marketing channels to drive brand awareness, conversion, and new users as well as lifecycle communications crafted to engage, retain, and promote additional value to our existing users.
As the Associate Producer (Japanese), this person will handle frontline communications with development teams for clear messaging on production and live operations of mobile games. This staff member will handle the life cycle of launched games as well as become a control tower for the titles they represent. They will also be charged with proofreading and approving localized content as well as communicating with the appropriate parties and vendors for said translations and keeping up with basic approval processes for assets and text.
Operational duties:
- Developer communication
- Cross functional internal communication with QA, CS, UA, Marketing, Operations, etc
- Management of production schedules, in game events, notices, timelines, as well as other various and typical game operations tasks.
- Basic oversight of community / social media / customer service
- Language Interpretation with external or overseas partners
Localization duties:
- Translate and localize in-game text, user interface, and other game strings as needed.
- Manage quality and schedule of external localization vendors or by localization coordinators as needed
- Assist in planning localization projects and updating various localization process documents as projects are received and completed
- Localize pitch documents and proposals to Asian developers and/or IP holders
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Fluency in Japanese and English
- Project coordination skills
- 1-2 years’ work experience in video game development.
- Understanding of the end-to-end localization process for games or software products
- Excellent English written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to cultivate productive and positive relationships with external partners, managers, and peers
- BA/BS or 2+ years equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge of performance metrics, KPI, and basic reporting

The Creative Services Producer will be responsible for writing, shooting and editing news promotion, client commercials and community image spots for Telemundo Colorado. This position will work closely with Telemundo Denver Creative Services Manager to create and execute fresh and relevant imaging for the station and clients.
- Conceptualize and write strategic messaging to further the station and client’s brands and achieve goals.
- Shoot and edit high quality local television promos and commercials that will entice viewers to watch Telemundo Colorado newscasts and draw viewers to experience clients’ products and services.
- Responsible for staging, lighting, editing and directing for shoots as well as camera work to produce high quality promos, commercials and PSA’s.

In this position you will work directly with assignment managers, producers, senior producers, and correspondents to help pitch, write and produce news content for broadcast and the web.
Responsibilities
- Assist with full scope of production including research, booking, pre-interviewing
- Digital journalism including shooting video and stills, and editing skills are required

Our growing and dynamic production team is now looking for a senior, experienced Executive Producer who will be responsible for producing large scale projects as well as managing production teams across multiple projects on behalf of the company’s top clients.

As an Executive Producer at BMF, you possess in-depth experience strategizing and producing a wide range of events. You can manage multiple priority projects and can envision the big picture while working hands-on to create and implement tactical solutions. You are excellent at working with Account, Creative, and Strategy and teams to ensure logistical and budget feasibility. You have a keen eye for detail, time management, team coordination, problem-solving abilities, and budgeting. What a day in the life will look like:
Departmental Management:
- Provide production expertise and leadership – guide internal teams to anticipate and meet client goals/objectives, and foster organic growth
- Contribute to day-to-day management of internal and freelance producers, ensure projects are on track and reconciled in a timely manner
- Provide departmental administrative support including signing off on invoices, reviewing contracts, ensuring credit cards are reconciled, and budgets are closed
- Assist in production staff planning for both long-term and freelance for all offices
- Support overall budgeting process to ensure profitability
- Provide coaching and managerial oversight to junior staff
Production:
- Oversee and occasionally manage all facets of pre-event production, onsite management, and post-event breakdown.
- Able to oversee multiple events from beginning to end, often occurring simultaneously.
- Able to work closely with Account teams on client communications and deliverables
- Create, manage, and oversee complex event budgets, from concept to reconciliation to ensure profitability.
- Oversee venue scouting and selection.

- Strong working knowledge of new, unique venues and cutting-edge vendors
- Attends weekly brainstorms and RFP meetings.
- Working with Talent and Digital departments in securing talent and fulfilling riders if needed.
- Responsible for overseeing adherence and quality control to BMF processes and key event documents including budget, activation deck, recap deck, run of show, work back schedule, and contact list.
What you need to succeed at BMF:
You must have:
- At least 8-10 years combined experience in Events or Experiential on the agency/contractor/client side
- Five years minimum of experience as a Senior Producer in an agency setting and comfortable/measurable experience
- producing budgets of $1mm and up
- Exceptional budgeting skills.
- Extraordinary organizational and management skills, strong ability to multitask.
- Deep knowledge of cutting-edge venues, vendors and tastemakers.
- Ability to develop and communicate experiential creative concepts and ideas.
- Background in managing teams.
- Strong mentoring capabilities.
- Experience in staff planning against projects in the pipeline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Keynote.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.

Synopsis:
Fabulations, or the Re-Education of Undine is a social satire that follows successful and high-powered African-American publicist Undine Barnes Calles on an unexpected journey, after her smooth-talking but dishonest husband Herve disappears with her hard-earned fortune. Suddenly bankrupt, homeless and pregnant, Undine returns to her childhood home in Brooklyn’s Wait Whitman projects, where she reunites with the family and friends she attempted to leave behind. There she faces the realities of her new life, rediscovers where she came from, and gains a fresh and gains a fresh perspective on her priorities for her future.
This is a Columbia University directing Thesis Production, written under the guindance of Anne Bogart and Brain Kulick.
Roles:
An Ensemble for 4 women and 4 men who play multiple characters with the exception of the actress playing Undine.
- Undine Barnes Calles (30’s Black, Female/Female Presenting): A high-powered executive at a PR firm who loses everything but gains a sense of perspective in the process; a self-made woman who endures with humor and honesty.
- Flow/Others (20’s, Black, Male/Male Presenting): Undine’s brother, a hispter with a tatty Afro ang goatee, with the habit of speaking a bit too loudly. May also play Agent Duva, Rapper, Drug Dealer, Mover, Addict, Applicant.
- Mother/Others (40’s+, Black, Female/Female Presenting): Undine’s Mother; works as a security guard at Long Island University. May also play Allision, Rosa, Inmate #2 and Applicant.
- Accountant/Others (20’s, Any Race, Male/Male Presenting): An elegantly-clad man in his mid-thirties; may also play: Addict #1, Mover, Applicants, Doctor #2.
- Herve/Guy (20+, Latino/Hispanic, Male/Male Presenting): Undine’s husband, an Argentinian con man with the grace of a flamenco dancer, Also plays Guy, a recovering addict making the most of sobriety; works as a security guard but preparing to take the fireman’s exam: may also play Lance.
- Stephie/others (18+ Black/BIPOC, Female/Female Presenting): A spacey twenty-something; Undine’s assistant. May also Play: Counselor, Devora, Pregnant Woman and Applicant.
- Father/Others (40+, Black Male/Male Presenting): Undine’s Father; works as a security guard at Long Island Unversity. May also play Yoruba Priest, Gregory, Applicant.
- Grandma/Others (50+, Black Female/Female Presenting): Undine’s grandmother, all warmth and care. She came to New York with nothing, got her high school diploma, worked two jobs, and raised five beatufitul children. May also play: Doctor Khdair, Inmate #1, Case Worker.
COVID
Production will follow Columbia Unversity’s COVID-19 policies and protocols. All participants will be required to show proof of vaccination. In the performance, the actors will be maskless, and the audience members will have to show proof of vaccination. Health and safelty policies are consistently updated based on New York State, New York City and Columbia Unversity guidelines and are subject to revision at any time.
