Who we are:

Founded in 1978, GS&F is an award-winning, fully integrated marketing and communications agency. GS&F delivers proven results for clients, providing experienced marketing, creative, interactive, media, public relations and production specialists under one roof. GS&F staff numbers 90+ and our roster features major regional, national and global clients, including Bridgestone, LP Building Solutions, Juice Plus+, Butler Snow, Nashville Predators, and the Tennessee Titans. A fiercely independent agency, GS&F takes an audience-first approach to determining the path to our client’s most dramatic business potential.

Who we are looking for:

Our team consists of makers, analysts, creatives, strategists, thinkers, tinkerers and more. If you are a big idea thinker, can find a nugget of wisdom in the smallest data point, are relentless in your pursuit of doing great work and are unafraid to say the tough stuff, we want you here.

Are you pixel perfect in your execution of creative files? Do you agonize over accurate spacing, color selection, and asset specs? Are you a creative machine that can create endless variations and iterations on established brand or campaign standards? In the role of Creative Producer you must be one part designer, one part production artist, one part organization expert and one part project manager. You must be able to ensure that all creative files are technically correct, resulting in high quality print or digital ready files and fulfilling the approved design work and internal production requirements.

You’ll likely need the following qualifications and experience to be successful in this role:

  • We believe that years of experience is just a number; that said, typically someone in this role has 2–3 years of design, production artist, or print production experience
  • Prior agency experience would certainly help you get up to speed more quickly but isn’t required for this role
  • Should possess a mastery of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, After Effects as well as other design tools and technologies
  • Prior experience with developing HTML5 ads, motion graphics, and other interactive art is highly desired in this role
  • Must have a solid understanding of all production and printing industry technical requirements such as pre-press file set up for commercial offset printing as well as digital commercial printing
  • Highly collaborative artist who works to produce all files according to the art director’s specifications
  • Ability to take a master design concept and version out various deliverables for both print and digital while maintaining a brand’s design guidelines for a cohesive marketing campaign.
  • Advises creative team on best practices for the creation and distribution of assets
  • Skews toward the technical side of design and less about “big creative ideas”; candidates should be comfortable with this aspect of the role
  • Should possess a “library catalog”-type mental organizational ability with the desire to create organization structures to best execute a large amount of creative assets
  • Not afraid of voicing a dissenting or contrarian point of view, especially when it supports the brief, the creative idea or the business objectives of a project

After all, diversity feeds the best friendships because what makes you, you…makes us, us.

Because of this commitment and our commitment to improve, we have set important DE&I milestones and goals for our agency. To that end, you may be asked a question about your gender, ethnicity, disability or veteran status as you submit your online application. Rest assured we don’t have the ability to track your responses to these questions back to you, and it’s never considered as part of your candidacy for a position at GS&F. If we say we want to improve, we simply want to know we are actually improving.
