We specifically seek parents with teenage children currently attending schools such as TSTC, ACC, or Workforce Solutions while in high school. Participants must have a genuine connection to these educational institutions and be able to share their experiences on camera convincingly.

Compensation Details: This one-day casting opportunity’s pay rate is $750 per day. This compensation applies to all selected participants, including high school students, parents, counselors, and teachers/instructors. Additionally, the production company will cover any necessary expenses incurred during the shoot, such as transportation or meals.

Note: This casting call is open to individuals who are legal residents of Austin, TX, Hutto, TX, and the surrounding areas. Participants must provide proof of affiliation with the mentioned educational institutions to qualify for the roles.

Compensation Details: Selected participants will be compensated at $750 per work day. This amount will be paid for the day(s) they must film.

FEATURE FILM – EXTRAS CASTING CALL

Job Detail: We are casting young adults to portray high school students for an upcoming feature film in Lockhart, Texas. As an extra, you will be part of the background to help bring the school scenes to life, contributing to the overall authenticity and atmosphere of the film.

Job Responsibilities:

• Appear as a background high school student in various scenes throughout the film.
• Follow the instructions of the casting director and production team during the filming process.

Job Details: We are searching for a fantastic DOG with their owner to participate in a healthcare print shoot in the DFW area. The shoot will take place on August 6, 7, or 8, and the selected talent will only be required to shoot for ONE of these days. Please ensure you provide any scheduling conflicts with these dates in your submission.

Job Responsibilities: The selected talent, a Shopper and their Dog, will be featured in various healthcare-related print materials. The owner will portray a shopper between 25 and 40, while the Dog will play a significant role alongside them. The Dog must be comfortable walking on a leash with a stranger, interacting with other dogs, and wearing clothing for certain shots.

Requirements:

• Owner (Human): Age range between 25 and 40.
• Dog: No specific age requirement, but must be well-behaved, comfortable walking on a leash, and at ease around strangers and other dogs.
• The Dog must be comfortable wearing clothing during the shoot. Please include both clothed and unclothed pictures of the dog in your submission.

• Usage Terms: The usage will be for one year and limited to Texas only. The media usage includes all forms except broadcast and out-of-home media. There is also an option for a 1-year renewal.

Job Details: We are seeking talented individuals to portray featured street soldiers in an exciting indie sci-fi/action film shooting at Troublemaker Studios in Austin, TX. This is a non-union project with a fantastic director and production team at the helm. The shoot dates are Wednesday, August 2nd, and Thursday, August 3rd, both OVERNIGHT SHOOTS.

Job Responsibilities: Selected candidates will portray a group of street soldiers and be provided with fight and action choreography training on the first night of the shoot. You will work closely with the production team and follow their direction to bring these characters to life on screen. The role requires physicality and dedication to delivering compelling performances during the overnight shoots.

Requirements:

Job Details: Vicky Boone Casting is seeking Jewish-American men between 35 and 55 to audition for a supporting role in an upcoming short film, “MAKING OF A CLASSIC.” The film is set in Dallas in 1941 and revolves around the production of the legendary ‘race picture’ The Blood of Jesus. As a producer on the film set, the character navigates the typical challenges faced during filmmaking while also trying to connect with the lead actress, both of whom are Black creatives searching for inspiration.

Job Responsibilities: The chosen actor will take on the producer role, contributing to portraying the character’s experiences as a Jewish-American in 1941 Dallas. They will work closely with the director and other cast members to bring authenticity and depth to the character’s Jewish heritage. This supporting role requires a committed and talented actor who can effectively convey the character’s emotions, struggles, and aspirations within the context of the film’s narrative.

Requirements:

• Male actors aged 35 to 55 years old.
• Must be of Jewish-American heritage. Candidates should indicate their heritage during the audition process.
• Previous acting experience in film, television, or theater is preferred.
• Ability to portray a character from the 1940s era convincingly.
• Must be a member of SAG-AFTRA or willing to join the union for this project.

Audition Details:

• Auditions will be conducted via Eco Cast Self-Tapes, with submissions due MON 7/24, 2023.
