Bryan Cranston has been in the industry for a long time. You can remember him working on Malcolm in the Middle as a the playful and almost ridiculous to playing the infamous Walter White on .

But, in an interview with DP/30 he explains what he had to change during his auditions in order to get booked for roles.

Bryan Cranston explains in that he stopped considering an audition as a job interview but a performance. Basically instead of trying to get something from producers he is giving something to producers.

If you are too earnest, you'll seem too desperate and won't attract the casting . You need to act like you have something to give and know that if it's coming from a genuine place, it's gonna be amazing.
