Job Description

A short independent film is seeking background extras to appear in a conference scene. Production is looking for a diverse group of adults interested in gaining on-set experience while contributing to an exciting indie film project. Background performers will portray reporters during a key scene in the film.

This non-union volunteer opportunity includes meals and screen credits for participants.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform as a background extra in a conference scene.
• Portray reporters in a realistic and professional manner.
• Follow direction from the production team and assistant directors.
• Arrive on time and remain available for the duration of filming.
• Maintain professionalism while on set.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Open to all ethnicities and identities.
• Comfortable appearing on camera in a background role.
• Able to work collaboratively with cast and crew.
• Reliable and available for filming in Vancouver.
