Our client, a leader in the music festival promotion industry, is seeking an Entertainment Data Manager to join their growing team! The Entertainment Data Manager will lead the data strategy and drive excellence in data management both in the offices and at the festivals. The Entertainment Data Manager will be a key leader within the organization, responsible for shaping and executing our data strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and articulate comprehensive short and long-term visions and data strategies for data technology and its integration with overall goals.
- Define a clear vision for data management, analytics, and utilization.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, security, and privacy of data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, ticketing, finance, talent, production, etc.) to implement data governance best practices.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement technology solutions to support data management and analytics needs.
- Drive the development and implementation of business intelligence and analytics strategies across marketing, ticketing, finance, operations, partnerships, etc.
- Ensure the delivery of actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align data initiatives with business goals.
- Communicate complex data concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, accessibility, and utilization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and analytics.
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in the data and analytics space.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in a role overseeing the data management and analytics functions.
- Strong background in data governance, data architecture, and business intelligence.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing comprehensive data strategies and centralized data infrastructures.
- Comfortable working as an individual contributor role.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of data technologies, tools, and platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
