Role Overview:

The Senior Communications & VIP Manager is the pillar and driver of the account team – this role with 6-8 years’ of experience is instrumental in providing exceptional client council and is responsible for ensuring best in class plans and executions for their accounts. They provide insight and strategy for their clients and showcases deep knowledge of the media and influencer landscape, as well as the “crowd to know” to get high profile, headline driving names to client events across SEEN. This role is a true support to the senior members of the team and cross agency, as well as being an inspiring leader to more junior members to foster their growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Client Service:

  • Day-to-day account lead with strong client relations, understanding of their brand and ethos, ensuring exceptional client counsel is delivered
  • Develop a deep understanding of client’s business in order to deliver strategic and creative campaigns against briefs, and foster strong relationship with client to build trust and SEEN loyalty
  • Lead client meetings alongside your team ensuring status updates, plans and proposals are delivered in a professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Take an active role in client account/project admin – contribution and quality control for junior team across all elements of client reporting and client administration
  • Ensure any client requirements or issues are dealt with accordingly, having a solution-driven approach to all communication and next steps
  • Manage the delivery of client reporting to ensure timely delivery for appropriate sign off and deadline management to key stakeholders

Management:

  • Act as positive role model for your direct team, peers and across wider business
  • Active junior team lead and team coach ensuring support in managing workload, R&R’s and prioritization
  • Active junior team role in press and influencer expertise, supporting the team with informed guidance of identification, pitching and seeding strategies
  • Mentoring the junior team to support them in their SEEN career developement and ensuring your team is offering effective client work, to meet client goals and deadlines
  • Manage appraisals for direct reports – create KPIs and objectives during review processes

Specialist Skill Set:

  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills showcasing strategic thinking and creative ideas that SEEN is known for
  • Exceptional industry relationships, showcasing media and influencer/talent strategy building skills.
  • Excellent pitching skills to convert high quality results and growth for clients
  • Consistent growth and maintainence of strong network and knowledge of press and influencer relationships, as well as high profile names in key US regional markets for VIP
  • Excellent understanding of social medial landscape, ensuring clients are provided with strategic recommendations that showcase a comprehensive understanding
  • Play a lead role in the planning and execution of influencer partnership management and celeb attendance specific to eventing/activations/experiential, inclusive of contract and SOW negotiations
  • You are the eyes and ears of industry (beauty and wellbeing) news, trends and insights to benefit client work and in-role specialism.
  • Oversee rising talent research and gifting to stylist/agents for to engage clientele
  • Identify and foster key relationships with VIPs, talent, agents and hospitality groups and venues to ensure agency is well informed on newest

Business Skill Set:

  • Responsible for account financial health, including budget tracking, expsenses, timely delivery of POs and strong internal relationships and WOW with SEEN’s finance team
  • Liaise with client on annual and campaign budgets; management of all cost estimates and approvals
  • Take an active role in new business involvement, inclusive of brainstorming and when appropriate taking part in the pitch team
  • Take an active role in brainstorming across the agency, showcasing your strategic and creative thinking that your peers can utilise with their client portfolio
  • Support in identifying and presenting opportunities to organically grow existing client business by proactively pitching SEEN Group integrated ideas and services
  • Demonstrate your ability to grow your client business and cross-sell SEEN Group, making your clients aware of full specialism and services
  • Assist in recruitment of talent to US team; tapping network of contacts to ensure SEEN has strong pool of diverse candidates for any open roles.
