Gallery Sales Assistant

An International Gallery, with an expanding presence in Los Angeles are looking for a Gallery Sales Assistant to join their team.

Previous experience working within a Gallery in a similar fast-paced role is required.

The key job responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for assisting in all matters relating to the sale of artworks and the day-to-day running of the Gallery space.
  • Act as front of house, representing the Gallery and greeting clients and visitors.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director and sales team.
  • Liaise with clients on a regular basis, partake in meetings and all correspondence.
  • Assisting with all logistics and post-sale duties, as well as invoicing and chasing payments.
  • Carry out diary management duties, booking meetings, travel and any other ad-hoc duties when required.

Experience required:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role within a Gallery space is required.
  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree or higher would be highly beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Fine Art industry is required.
  • Previously experience using ArtLogic and Asana is beneficial.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and quickly and efficiently respond to enquiries.
