Seeking MULTIPLE Talent for Neighborly project – Richmond VA – NU – June 6 – 9

New project just in!  Seeking talent for the following project (non-union).  NOTE – A self-tape IS required for consideration for this project!

SHOOT DATES: Talent will only work 2 days, but the exact date is TBD. Our Shoot dates are June 6 – 9th.

TALENT SPECS: 

OVERALL

We are looking for:

• People that can pull off the friendly, approachable, and professional look of a Neighborly service professional.

We would like our talent to be diverse in ethnicity and gender (unless specified otherwise). Everyone must be clean shaven and have no visible tattoos. They should appear as real life people, not supermodels. We are open to diversity in body shape and size as long as that doesn’t hinder their ability to perform their task. Experience in manual labor or performing the tasks of a service professional (plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.) is a plus, but not mandatory.

Specifically:

• Males & Females – any ethnicity between the ages of 25 – 45

ON-CAMERA PRIMARY PERFORMERS (SERVICE PROS):

Estimated number of performers required: 17

SESSION: We intend to book talent at $500 USD (based on a 10-hour session, excluding meals) with all rights included. One-time $75 fitting fee for up to four (4) hours.  There is NO travel being provided, but client may provide a gas stipend for talent depending on location / mileage from Richmond, VA.

USAGE FEE: If, and only if, the performer’s on-camera likeness/performance is used in the final Materials, as defined below, performer will receive a Usage Fee of $3,000 USD.

A’TAKA: non-union | animated feature film | voice-over auditions

PERFORMANCE DIRECTIONS

All voices should sound REAL and BELIEVABLE. No cartoon voices. Speak with authenticity and sincerity. Even though these are animated characters, we want them to sound like genuine human beings. Use your real voice.

Story Synopsis: Set in a fantasy world, a young warrior goes on an adventure to solve a dark mystery, and faces his doubts as he rises to become a powerful A’TAKA Knight

Location/Time-frame: recording in July, near Charlottesville, VA. Exact dates TBD

Seeking talent for 5 Guys Hamburgers – NU – Mid-May (multiple dates) – Lorton VA

Seeking multiple on-screen talent, some speaking, some not. Usage is 1 year, internet video only. This is a non-union shoot, and therefore looking for non-union talent (SAG-E is ok).

We are shooting the 17th and 18th, or 18th and 19th and the dates are being locked in late today or tomorrow.  

Rates: $1,000/day + agency fee for speaking roles and $800/day + agency fee for non-speaking. They will be on set 5 hours. I’m looking to book talent for 1 day, except 1 role which will be both days (TBD)

They are looking for the following talent (comedy/improv experience a PLUS):

Role 1 – Employee (Speaking)

• Female 20s-30s caucasian
• Bubbly personality, upbeat and personable. Good comedy/improv skills.
• Days on Set: 1 Day (5 hrs)

Role 2 – Employee (Non-Speaking)

• Male 30-35 AA / hispanic
• On the taller/larger-side so the in the way gag works better
• Days on Set: 1 Day (5 hrs)

Role 3 – 1st AC (Non-Speaking)

• Female, AAPI / Hispanic
• No nonsense crewmember just trying to get her job done. Good to have a touch of good-hearted attitude like a good eye-roll.
• Days on Set: 2 Days (5 hrs/day)

Role 4 – Employee (Speaking)

• Male 20s-30s AA
• Personable and friendly, clean face with no facial hair. Good comedy chops/improv skills with strong facial expressions
• ie: think a young Dulé Hill
• Days on Set: 1 Day (5 hrs)

Role 5 – Customer 1 (Speaking)

• Male 40s-50s caucasian / hispanic
• Everyman, dry sense of humor, dad bod, facial hair is fine. Good comedy/improv chops.

Our client is seeking the following talent for an upcoming project filming in Richmond VA on 4/26.  This is a nonunion project.  Talent will be unrecognizable in the final project.  This is for an alcoholic beverage company so please make sure you are comfortable with that reference (no drinking is required in this project).  Here are the details:

HAND/ARM MODELS

• (1 hero / 3-5 support) 
• Open ethnicity and gender
• For all arms, weʼre looking for a diverse range of race, body type, and age. Multiple options will help us mix and match to ensure inclusivity. Please no nail art; weʼre looking for more natural hands here.
• They should be adept at holding the can in various poses, cracking cans, pouring ingredients, etc. Everyone should also be OK with a light application of grease or oil, should we need their arms to shine on camera against our dark set. 

HERO ARMS –

• For our hero talent set of arms, weʼre looking for muscular, freedom-fighter-esque limbs. Over 25 and likely male, but open to anyone who fits the description. Theyʼre obviously strong, but not over the top. They have a gruff look to them, not too delicate or clean in an unmarked sense. Body hair is cool.
• Tattoos are also cool unless they have noticeable words or brand logos (if we are showing the tattoos, they will need to be released by the artist). 

SUPPORT ARMS –

• For our support arms talent, we want a mix of characters to help make it look like as many different people as possible in edit. Hereʼs what weʼre looking for…. Clean, delicate arms with a graceful air to them. If our hero arms are larger and muscular, maybe these ones are noticeably smaller. Super strong bodybuilder arms; since our hero wonʼt be over the top, it could be fun to cast someone who is for one of our support sets. Elderly arms; someone clearly older but still just as capable of handing the can. Super hairy; the wolf-ier the better.

We have a new project just in!  Here is what we need/know:

Client is seeking a:

• wheelchair-bound talent
• any ethnicity
• male or female,
• 30’s-ish for April 19 OR 20.  

(I’m waiting on confirmation of the dates).  

Rate and usage are TBD; however, they wanted to move forward ASAP with getting talent who might be interested and available.  

This is for a tourist spot.  

CASTING FOR BUD LIGHT PHOTO SHOOT – Richmond VA – NU – 4/10

Seeking:

• Talent for upcoming shoot for BUD LIGHT in Richmond VA.  This is anticipated to shoot on 4/10.  You MUST be willing to bring your own wardrobe.  These are LOCAL hires only so please do not respond if you cannot work as a local.  Also, the starting age of 26 is firm.  Here are the details and what you should do if interested!

Casting Specs:

• Talent Age 26-35 (firm on age 26 as starting point).
• Need multiple talent.
• Males & Females – open ethnicity.
• All diverse body types requested.
• Compensation and Usage Details:

Rate / Session: $800 / 10 hours on set RVA 

Additional $200 if recognizable (not blurred in focus and in foreground)

Wardrobe expectations:

Will ask talent to provide all wardrobe options included in offered fee. Looking for basics that would be worn in 60ish degree weather to a tailgate party:

• A mix of shorts/tshirts and some sweatshirts and long sleeves
• A few jacket options – windbreakers, starter jackets.
• Footwear – sneakers and open to other casual options. No sandals.
• Accessories – Hats (baseball caps), jewelry (bracelets), sunglasses
• All generic, no brands
