NCasting posted a casting call looking for full time, day player stand-ins, and background extras to work on Under the Dome Season 3. According toWilmywoodnc, producers are also looking for stunt doubles to work on the hit TV series.

Under the Dome centers around an invisible and mysterious force field descends upon a small fictional town in the United States, trapping residents inside, cut off from the rest of civilization. The trapped townsfolk must discover the secrets and purpose of the “dome” and its origins, while coming to learn more than they ever knew about each other.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Heaven is For Real’ producers are now working on the latest Christian family movie, ‘Miracles from Heaven’.

The project is an adaptation ofThree Miracles From Heaven: A Sick Little Girl, Her Journey to Heaven, and the Lives Forever Changed, an upcoming book byChristy Beam; Randy Brown, who wrote Clint Eastwood‘s Trouble With the Curve, is on board to write the script.

T.D. Jakes and Joe Roth, who produced Heaven Is for Real, are producing along with DeVon Franklin, the preacher and former Sony exec who is now a producer based on the studio’s Culver City lot. Franklin was instrumental in bringing in the book in proposal form, and the acquisition is a vote of confidence in the newly minted producer. [via]

According to the Christian Post, the movie is based on a true story about Christy Beam’s daughter who miraculously overcame a rare disorder that forced her to eat with tubes and carry colostomy bags instead of using regular bathrooms. After Beam’s daughter fell three stories, the book reveals the young girl visited heaven and was later cured of her rare condition.’

Malia Obama is now working as an intern on set of HBO’s hit TV series, ‘Girls’.

Malia Obama is currently interning this summer for Lena Dunham on the set of HBO’s ‘Girls’, according to TMZ.

According to Page Six, Malia was seen hanging out with the show’s crew on Thursday outside of Aurora Ristorante in Williamsburg.

HBO’s ‘Girls’ is created by and starring Lena Dunham, Girls is a comedy-drama following a close group of twenty-somethings living in New York City. The show’s premise and major aspects of the main character were inspired by some of 29-year-old Dunham’s real-life experiences.

On January 5, 2015, HBO renewed Girls for a fifth season. Dunham has stated that she intends on concluding the series after a sixth season.

This is not the first time Malia Obama worked on set of a TV show. Last year, it was rumored that Malia was working on set of Halle Berry’s TV series ‘Extant‘.

NBC has decided to pull the plug on “A.D.: The Bible Continues” after only one season.

According to Variety, NBC has canceled “A.D.: The Bible Continues” due to low ratings.

In 2015, NBC introduced “A.D.: The Bible Continues,” a sequel to the hugely popular 2013 miniseries “The Bible,” produced by Mark Burnett and Roma Downey. While the series aimed to capture the dramatic and tumultuous early years of Christianity, it struggled to maintain a strong viewership, ultimately leading to its cancellation after just one season. ‘Mena’ is based on a true story about Barry Seal, a pilot who, in the 1980s was a gun runner, and drug trafficker who transported contraband for the CIA and Medellin cartel. He was eventually shot and killed in Baton Rouge. The title of the movie comes from Mena, Arkansas where a majority of the drug trafficking took place under the noses of several presidents and governors.

‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Open Casting Call in Spain

HBO announces first extras open casting call for Game of Thrones Season 6 in Girona, Spain.

According to the Winter is Coming, HBO casting directors for ‘Game of Thrones‘ are now looking for extras to work on Season 6 of ‘Game of Thrones’.

Several weeks ago it was announced that Game of Thrones would be heading to Spain to film scenes for Season 6. Rumors about casting dates for extras have been circulating online, but now casting directors will be holding an open casting call in Girona, Spain.

Modexpor International, the company responsible for casting extras for the show’s sixth season, recently posted a casting call on Twitter giving aspiring actors all the information they need to know.

‘Game of Thrones’ is extremely popular in Spain, so Modexpor International took care to say that they will not be looking more than 1200 men and 1200 women. The casting call will be open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM on both June 29 and June 30. Filming will occur in Girona between September 3 and 18 of this year.

Here are the casting tips translated by Winteriscoming.net:

  • Modexpor is looking for “Men and women 18 to 65 years of all races.” This makes sense, as the show will need people of all ages to fill out the population of whatever Westerosi city Girona will stand in for. In general, it wants local people from the area.
  • Preference will be given to “thin” people, because it’s TV, and there’s a call for “men with good physical condition (not bodybuilders).” It wants “men with short hair/women with long hair. People with very modern hairstyles will be removed from the casting.” So no vulgar words shaved into the back of your head, extras. That’s not medieval.
  • “The hair color should be uniform, without streaks, not worth these hair colors: verder, red, violet, azil, pink, Californian wicks, etc …”
  • “Men should be prepared to let grow or cut your facial hair.”

Also, no one with tattoos will be admitted.

According to the casting call notice, casting dates for extras in Peñíscola will be announced shortly.

Filming will take place in the cities of Girona and Peniscola. For season 5, the show shot in Osuna and Seville, with the latter city reporting a huge increase in tourism as a result of the show. Thousands of background extras applied last year when a casting call went out in Spain.
