‘Kindergarten Cop 2’ is now filming with Dolph Lundgren in the leading role.
25 years after Arnold Schwarzenegger brought undercover cop/kindergarten teacher John Kimble to life in Ivan Reitman’s comedy ‘Kindergarten Cop,’ another ‘Expendables’ star is apparently filling his big shoes for teh sequel.
Behind-the-scenes photos of Dolph Lundgren on the set of Don Michael Paul’s ‘Kindergarten Cop 2’ have been sweeping across the internet today, providing strong evidence that the ‘Kindergarten Cop’ reboot is actually happening.
Currently filming in Vancouver, the sequel was written by David H. Steinberg (American Pie) and, according to reports, the plot of the movie goes something like this:
The new Kindergarten Cop (Lundgren) and his Indian sidekick Sanjit are tracking down a flash drive that’s gone missing from the Federal Witness Protection Program. As you might have guessed, it somehow finds its way into a kindergarten class. As you also might have guessed, this predicament allows Lundgren to take on the guise of an elementary school teacher, schmooze a lady teacher down the hall, and defeat scores of Albanian bad guys.
The comedy is due out sometime next year and we will hopefully be hearing official news in the next few weeks. While this sequel may never see the light of day in movie theaters, there’s a good chance it will hit Netflix and other streaming outlets soon.
Two new holiday movies are going to film in Detroit after Michigan grants film credit incentives.
According to a press release by the Michigan Film Office, TV One’s original holiday movies, “Royal Family Thanksgiving” and “Royal Family Christmas” are currently filming in metro Detroit through early September.

Tom Cruise’s ‘Jack Reacher’ is now in development and will start filming in November.
Jack Reacher 2 will start filming this November and will hit theaters by late 2016, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
‘Jack Reacher’ was written Christopher McQuarrie (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation) and starred Tom Cruise (Edge of Tomorrow). ‘Jack Reacher’ struggled in the box office with
$80.1M grossed, but overseas it flourished with $138.3M.
Tom Cruise will reprise his role as a drifer and former U.S. Army Military Police Corps officer, but this time he will be directed by Ed Zwick, who directed Cruise in 2003’s The Last Samurai.
Jack Reacher films are based on the popular book series written by British author Lee Childs.
Jack Reacher 2 is expected in theaters in late 2016.

Donald Trump is making the Presidential race entertaining again. According to reports, Donald Trumps outbursts, comments and interviews are boosting Fox’s ratings.
Less than a week after FNC set cable news ratings records for the first primetime GOP debate of the 2016 election cycle, “Hannity” averaged 628,000 adults 25-54 on Tuesday for its exclusive interview with Trump. With its top delivery since April, “Hannity” beat the combined 10 p.m. demo totals of CNN (170,000 for “CNN Tonight”) and MSNBC (101,000 for “Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell”).
Tuesday’s interview was Donald Trump’s first appearance on Fox News in the days since he complained about the interview tactics of the network’s Megyn Kelly, one of the moderators for last Thursday’s debate from Cleveland. Talking with Hannity, Donald Trump pointed out the latest GOP election polls and lated out specific public policy proposals he has in mind.
Last week’s GOP debate lifted Fox News to its highest-rated week since the Iraq War in 2003.
Universal Pictures is offering to reimburse theaters for the cost of extra security for this weekend’s launch of “Straight Outta Compton”.
A spokesperson for Universal said the studio is partnering with movie theaters who have requested extra support for their locations.
“Universal is proud of our association with ‘Straight Outta Compton,’ which portrays the rise of five talented young men from underprivileged and oppressed backgrounds into one of the most influential music groups in modern history,” the spokesperson said.
“The film has been seen by thousands of people at hundreds of screenings, all of which have happened without incident. The studio has not solicited enhanced security for theaters who will begin showing it this weekend, but has partnered with those exhibitors who have requested support for their locations.”
Security was heavier than normal at the Monday night premiere of “Straight Outta Compton” at LA Live in downtown Los Angeles. No incidents were reported.

America’s Next Top Model reveals the horrible conditions she alleges ‘AMNT’ producers put the models in.
America’s Next Top Model has always had a long history of controversy. Yahoo!’s Shine lifestyle website said the show contained cruelty and elements of humiliation, and that some critiques from the judges are “really cruel and cringe-inducing”, claiming that the show “humiliates and degrades young women.”
The site also created the list “10 reasons why ‘America’s Next Top Model’ is bad for women, humans”, citing such things as giving the contestants and women viewers unrealistic visions of life as a model, and “always espousing empowerment and female strength and then forcing the contestants into embarrassing scenarios far outside the realm of real-life modeling”.
One such scenario highlighted was when two final contestants “were made to wear bikinis so skimpy that the producers had to blur out Allison’s butt cheeks”, and performed a “creepily sexual mud fight,” after which contestant Teyona Anderson was “commended for taking her weave in her hand and whipping it around on the runway like a sexy feather boa.”
An America’s Next Top Model contestant was stripped of her title when it was revealed she worked as an escort. But now, the aspiring model is arguing that the show is a sham in which girls are treated like animals in order to boost ratings.
Angela Preston, 29, won America’s Next Top Model cycle 17 but her moment of glory quickly ended. Producers took back her title and reshot the final scenes, handing the title to runner up Lisa D’Amato, 33.
Now Angelea is suing Tyra Banks and the show’s makers for $3 million.
In an interview with Angela, the aspiring model revealed the horrible conditions producers put the models in. Including, forcing the girls to film for 16 to 17 hours without food or water.
Preston has claimed that the girls were often forced to film for 16 or 17 hours without food or water and that for lengthy periods the contestants were ‘put on ice’ meaning they were not allowed to eat, drink or talk until called upon for filming. According to Angelea they were often kept in a holding room ‘on ice’ for hours on end, guarded by members of the production team.
In addition, AMNT producers withheld medical attention in order to film dramatic scenes, according to Angela.
And she has alleged that on one occasion crew withheld medical care when she suffered an anxiety attack and exhaustion following her final runway shoot so that the dramatic scenes could be captured on camera.
She said: ‘I used to admire Tyra so much. I wanted to be like her. I don’t want to be like her now. Tyra was non-existent. The only time we saw Tyra was at panel. Tyra never came in to talk to us personally.
‘When the cameras stopped rolling it’s like she’s a stranger.’
The aspiring model also revealed that America’s Next Top Model basically ruined her life and her chances of ever making it as a model.
Far from launching her career as a model America’s Next Top Model has, according to Angelea, destroyed any hope she might have of making it in the industry – branding her an escort and, she believes, rendering her all but unbookable.
She explained: ‘I couldn’t work after cycle 14 because of how I was portrayed. People viewed me as ghetto and a bitch, impossible to work with. They recognized me from the show and they didn’t want to even look at me.

Kevin Thomas Roy, the assistant director and production assistant to many of Hollywood’s biggest movies was fired.
Kevin Thomas Roy, a Hollywood production assistant and assistant director was fired from set of the movie ‘Allegiant’ after news surfaced that he had pleaded no contest to invasion-of privacy charges related to secretly taking photos of nude women, according to Jezebel.
Project Casting reported on the assistant director last month after it was revealed that he took over 400 images of women changing and using the bathroom. Many of these photos were taken of actresses and film crew members on film sets without their knowledge.
Lionsgate Films dismissed Roy after Allegiant cast and crew members began circulating the details of the voyeurism case that had been documented on Jezebel.
To add insult to injury, production staff told crew members that they would be suspended if they mentioned Kevin’s previous legal trouble.
“He just kept on telling people that his ex-wife found a porn stash on his computer and that it was no big deal,” one stand-in from the Allegiant set told Jezebel the day after the story and a copy of Roy’s search warrant were published. “Lots of people on set believed that he didn’t do anything wrong and we were warned by production staff not to discuss it. Mentioning Kevin would get you suspended. So we decided to print out the article, and the warrant and distribute it on set since production staff wasn’t doing anything about it.”
But, two days after the article went viral, Lionsgate PR revealed that he “will not be returning to set.”
Investigators learned about Roy’s hard drives full of naked women after his ex-wife discovered them. The hard drive contained evidence pointing to over 100 instances of criminal behavior, but the Los Angeles District Attorney charged Roy with two counts of misdemeanor invasion of privacy for secretly filming two models last summer.

Ok, tough morning. After 9 years with an abusive woman (who I didn’t even realize was abusive until I left her and realized I was finally happy for real) my ex told me, “I will ruin your career because I don’t want you in the same industry as me.” I figured it was more of the hurtful mind game she always played with me and didn’t take it as seriously as I should’ve. Sine January when she had me arrested while staying at friend’s house in Los Angeles for “hiding camera in air vents that I could monitor over the internet” (none of which existed but they arrested me anyway) I’ve taken it more seriously and have had a tough and depressing months with friendships, my career, and my life. The hope is always that this will go away but this morning the paparazzi she sent to my court hearing last month posted an article in the Friday story dump which I’ve attached below. Unfortunately the article is based on conjecture and pretty damaging. In an effort to get ahead of it I’m positing here for all of you to read if you so choose. it’s pretty horrible and gasp worthy but isn’t that the point of news articles? My hope is that those of you who know will see through it and this massive speed bump will go away and stop affecting my life. I’ve already wasted 9 years with her abuse. I’m really anxious to keep moving on with my life if she can’t with hers. Just bear with me because it’s been a crazy morning already with phone calls etc and I’m tired of dealing with this. Several women who worked with Roy contacted Jezebel leaking private text messages between them and the production assistant. Roy offered several women to stay at his guest house or if he could have a private photo shoot with them.

Michelle Rodriguez just ate the most disgusting meal in history on ‘Running Wild’ with Bear Grylls.
Bear Grylls and his second season of ‘Running Wild’ is hoping to humiliate, embarrass and tortue a new list of celebrities interested in “roughing it”. After convincing Kate Winslet to reenact the Titanic pose, Grylls was ready to torture his next celebrity. Recently, Michelle Rodriguez ate a mouse boiled in her own urine.
In this clip, Michelle Rodriguez is seen walking through Nevada’s Vally of Fire State Park. She grabs her cup of her own urine for Grylls, who commented, “I can smell that from here.” Rodriguez cheerfully replied, “Sorry, dude. Dehydrated.” The two got down to business boiling a mouse (that reportedly tastes like chicken) in the urine, which settled into a nice “broth” after the cooking process.
Grylls assured Rodriguez that it’s perfectly safe to drink one’s own pee, as the boiling process eliminates most bacteria. Rodriguez was pretty grossed out by the process, but she still remarked, “I’m kinda happy it’s my p*ss and not yours.”

At The CW’s TCA press day on Tuesday, network president Mark Pedowitz made it official by saying ‘Friday the 13th’ TV series is in development, and the creators of NBC’s 1996 series ‘The Pretender’ are writing the script.
Not to be confused with the 1980s series, this new ‘Friday the 13th’ TV show is being described by Deadline as “a sophisticated, horror/crime thriller” that will follow “the ongoing quest of a detective’s search for his missing brother that is somehow tied to Jason Voorhees, a long-thought dead serial killer who has now returned to wreak havoc in the new Crystal Lake.”
The new hour-long drama will be executive produced by Sean S. Cunningham, the director of the original 1980 film. There is no word as of yet if the story from the upcoming movie reboot will affect the events that transpire on the small screen. In addition, CW Network did not reveal if they have found the cast of the upcoming Friday the 13th series as well. Expect casting calls to hit the internet in the next few weeks.
It looks as though Lisa Kudrow will not be returning to Showtime anytime soon.
Showtime president David Nevins confirmed that the series will not be coming back for a fifth season, telling Variety and other reporters that the show is done.
‘Web Therapy’ is based on the webseries of the same name. The comedy featured Lisa Kudrow as Fiona Wallice, a therapist who has conceived of a new form of therapy, hence the name “web therapy.” Lisa Kudrow created the series with her producing partners Dan Bucatinsky (“Scandal”) and Dan Roos.
Premiering in 2011, ‘Web Therapy’ didn’t have that many viewers. On Rotten Tomatoes the first season of the show has a rating of 45%, based on 11 reviews, with an average rating of 5/10. The site’s consensus reads, “Web Therapy quickly wears out its welcome by not providing consistent laughs or an energizing plot.”
‘The Last Ship‘ has been renewed for season three, according to an announcement by TNT on Tuesday.
Currently in its second season, the Michael Bay production has been green-lit for another 13-episode season, which is expected to premiere in summer 2016.
The Navy-set action adventure is based on William Brinkley’s novel of the same name and revolves around a global apocalypse that nearly wipes out the world’s population, though the destroyer USS Nathan James avoids the tragedy, forcing its captain (Dane) and the ship’s crew to confront the new reality that they are probably all alone.
‘The Last Ship’s is one of the biggest caple scripted series for adults this summer. Currently, ‘The Last Ship’ is among the top three cable series in the key demographics, according to Nielsen. The show is currently averages around 4.6 million viewers.
Season two finale of ‘The Last Ship’ airs on Sept. 6.
The CW Network is creating a new TV series based on ‘The Notebook’.
Get ready because, ‘The Notebook’ could be coming to your TV screen soon. The CW is developing a TV series based on the Nicholas Sparks love story, according to Variety.
Based on the New York Times best selling novel and feature film, which starred Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling, the series will follow the romantic journey of young, conflicted couple Noah and Allie during the 1940s confronting issues such as racism, economic equalities and social standards.
The series is currently in development with producers still trying to figure the details surrounding ‘The Notebook’ TV series. In fact, casting directors have not even started casting the lead roles for the TV series.
‘Notebook’ was a box office hit that put Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling in small group of A-list actors. Nicholas Sparks will serve as an executive producer on the TV version of ‘The Notebook’.
Mark Wahlberg will play a LAPD detective in New Line’s action-comedy ‘Partners’.
‘Partners’ centers around a detective who falls in love with a woman after a one-night stand, then discovers she’s an FBI agent in charge of a high-profile case to which he’s been assigned.
Mark Wahlberg’s film career has increased over the years. His latest movie, ‘Ted 2’ was a box office hit and most recently, he finished filming ‘Deepwater Horizon,’ a movie about the BP Oil Spill.

This won’t be the first time Mark Wahlberg played a detective. In 2010 Mark Wahlberg played a detective alongside Will Ferell in ‘The Other Guys.’
