Will Smith reveals if he is planning on creating a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot.

Will Smith is currently traveling across the country promoting his new movie Suicide Squad. Along the way, he has sang some of his classic songs and embraced the music and shows that have made him famous. But, one thing Will Smith will not be doing is a Fresh Prince reboot.

Last year, there were reports that Will Smith’s production company, Overbrook Entertainment, was working on a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot that will put a new spin on the classic series. But all of that hype turned out to be nothing more than a rumor.

When Will Smith asked whether he would be interested in a Fresh Prince reboot, Will Smith replied by saying, “I don’t think ever, like pretty close to when hell freezes over… We’re going to leave that one alone.”

Maybe some things in life are better left un-touched and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is one of them.

Jared Leto says minorities and gay actors do not get many opportunities in Hollywood.

There has been a lot of discussion regarding diversity, and the hiring practices ever since #OscarsSoWhite went viral. Since then, there have been monumental shifts in the film industry including the first black women to direct a $100 million feature film. However, some people feel as though the film industry is still not that diverse as we would like it to be. For example, Jared Leto told GQ that Hollywood is not interested in embracing a gay leading man or “minorities” for a feature film.

“I definitely don’t think a gay leading man would have the same opportunities as a straight leading man. I don’t think that. Not for a single second,” Leto said. “I don’t know if that’s offensive or not, but that’s my thought right now. It shouldn’t be that way. I don’t think you’ll have as many opportunities. And I think you could say the same for minorities. What a word, ‘minority.’ Have we taken that word off the list yet? ‘Cause it should be. Anyway, no, I think that this is still a very conservative business.”

While a majority of the past year has focused on Jared Leto’s on-set antics, this new interview gives an inside look at one of the most popular actors in Hollywood. And it’s refreshing to see an actor use the spotlight to address Hollywood’s lack of diversity head on instead of remaining silent.

Ava DuVernay Becomes the First Black Woman To Direct A $100 Million Budget Film

Ava DuVernay is breaking records, walls, and making history in the process.

Deadline reported that DuVernay’s new movie A Wrinkle in Time received a remarkable $100 million budget.

DuVernay’s story is proof that hard work and dedication always pays off. She first started working as a journalist and eventually made her directorial debut in 2010 with I Will Follow a movie with a budget of only $50,000. Four years later, she directed Selma which had a $20 million budget.

Currently, DuVernay is working on the OWN Network series Queen of Sugar, which will debut next month.

Daisy Ridley quits Instagram and everyone is freaking out.

The Star Wars actress has deleted her entire account after a backlash from followers over a comment she made about gun control. The British actress, who has a huge following on social media, made the decision to delete her entire account this week.

Ridley posted a comment about gun violence saying: “Thinking about how lucky I am like……… Serious bit: as I sat in the audience yesterday tears were streaming down my face at the tribute to those that have been lost to gun violence.

“I didn’t get a great picture of the incredible group that came on stage but they were so brave. It was a true moment of togetherness. We must #stoptheviolence.”

She immediately faced a ton of negative comments telling her to mind her own business and stay out of the gun control debate.

According to reports, Ridley reactivated her Instagram account on Wednesday to post a comment, which read: “I just want to be on my phone less. Trying to be more present and all that and got a busy few months ahead so wanted less distractions…It’s all good! :)”

Fans of Daisy Ridley turned to Twitter to voice their opinion over Daisy Ridley and gun control.

Ridley has been shooting scenes for the sequel to The Force Awakens, alongside John Boyega, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher.
