According to reports, Liam Neeson’s latest movie “Cold Pursuit” opened with an estimated $10.8 million, the worst opening for any wide release starring Neeson since 2010. The last time he had such a poor performance in the box office was in the movie “The Next Three Days,” co-starring Russell Crowe, which opened to $6.5 million.

This news comes after an interview where Neeson revealed he fantasized about killing “some black bastard” after a close friend was raped. Now his latest movie, “Cold Pursuit,” is one of the worst opening weekends in the actor’s box office career.
The Wrap reports, “Cold Pursuit” was not on track to become a blockbuster movie even before his interview with London’s “The Independent” or the Tuesday “Good Morning America” interview where he insisted he is not a racist. That said, analysts expected the Lionsgate film to only open to $7 – 10 million, which could mean the interview did help boost the box office earnings for the actor.
Liam Neeson is set to appear in the upcoming blockbuster movie “Men in Black: International.” He will also appear in the upcoming feature film “Honest Thief, “ a film about a thief who plans to turn himself in for the good of his family but then decides to fight back after witnessing government corruption.
D.C. Comic Series “Doom Patrol” is now casting talent to play cooks for a Floridian swamp scene. Fittings will take place on Monday, February 11th or Tuesday, February 12th for scenes filming on Wednesday, February 13th and 14th in Atlanta, Georgia.
About Doom Patrol:
Doom Patrol is an upcoming drama series based on the DC Comics superhero group Doom Patrol created by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney, and Bruno Premiani that is set to premiere in 2019 on DC Universe (streaming service). According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. is now in planning a spinoff to Aquaman with “The Trench”. The studio has hired writers Noah Gardner and Aidan Fitzgerald to write a horror movie script centered around the Trench, the amphibious creature who attacked Aquaman.
Directors James Wan and Peter Safran will produce the project, which would presumably have a smaller budget than the traditional DC superhero movies.
The Trench is a rather new character. Trench first appeared in the DC comics in 2011, when DC did a complete overhaul of their publishing line. They are revealed to be part of the kingdom of Atlantis. But, when the city sunk its inhabitants were cut off from other survivors and evolved into monsters.
Details for the series are being kept secret but it will be set in the kingdom of the TRench and will not feature the main cast of Aquaman.
Following the success of Aquaman, it comes as no surprise that Warner Bros. wants to expand the franchise. As of February, “Aquaman” has made $325.2 million in the United States and $784.2 million in other parts of the world, for a total worldwide gross of $1.109 billion.

NBC’s Chicago Fire is now casting paramedics who can drive an ambulance and have right license to do so. Filming will shoot on Tuesday, February 12th. The rate of pay for a real Chicago paramedic is $185/8 hours and time and a half after 8 hours. There is also a $25 special ability bump.
