Fox’s Star Season 3 is now casting rappers and singers in Atlanta, Georgia.

Fox’s STAR is now casting talent to work on scenes filming on Monday, February 11th in Atlanta, Georgia. Casting directors are looking for hip-hop, country music, pop, rockstar, boy band and other artists for a final episode of the season. About Star:

Star’s life in the foster system didn’t dull her dreams, but it did give her the strength to pursue them. Committed to following the path to fame in the cut-throat music industry, the singer tracks down her sister, Simone, and her best friend from Instagram, Alexandra, and the trio make their way to Atlanta. Upcoming short film is now casting several speaking roles in Texas.

Michael Druck Casting is now casting talent to work on an upcoming short film in East Texas. Filming will shoot between March for 4 to 5 days. Talents will be compensated $200/day with lodging and travel will be provided. Casting directors are casting the following roles:

  • ABRAHAM – age range 18-24 – Abraham looks young for his age. Since the loss of his and Isabella’s mother, he has dedicated himself to taking care of his older sister. He carries himself with quiet bravery. However, underneath that facade lives an intense fear that his strength might not be enough to face the world. Ethnicity: African-American, Latinx, Middle Eastern, or East Indian.
  • ISABELLA – 22-29 – Isabella is terrified to leave her home behind. The home they lived in with their mother contains the last remnants of her memories of their time as a family. As their crisis escalates Isabella is forced to tap into strengths she had forgotten she possessed. The program will pick up to 8 diverse writers to take part in a series of master classes over the course of one week in June 2019 at the HBO campus in Santa Monica, California.

Liam Neeson Celebrates Movie Premiere Amid Racist Comment Controversy (Report)

Liam Neeson’s new movie “Cold Pursuit” may have canceled the premiere but, according to Fox News, the actor still showed up at the screening as well as the afterparty.

Following the scandal over his self-confessed racist behavior, the embattled actor said in an interview, the actor reportedly mingled and was “talking with guests” during the afterparty.

The Fox News source added, “People were definitely talking about his comments in their own scattered groups.”

An upcoming crime show series is now casting speaking roles in Miami, Florida.

Miami Talent Casting is now casting talent for a crime show series filming in Miami, Florida. Casting directors are looking for talent to work on scenes filming between February 13th through the 17th. Talents will be compensated $300/day.

ROLES:
LINDA (Lead role): Female, Caucasian, 40-55, Blonde short / mid length hair. Actress is preferred if truly British, if not, will need to be able to perform a very good British accent. Very social and full of positive energy. Actress must be comfortable appearing in bathing suit/bikini for some scenes and being on a boat and very comfortable swimming in the water (pool and calm ocean without waves) and holding breath for 15 seconds. this character has a laid back, outdoorsy type look, nothing elegant.

MALCOLM (Lead Role): Male, Caucasian, 45-65, average to slim build, silver hair, mustache. Actor is preferred to be truly British, if not, will need to speak in very good British accent. Actor must be comfortable appearing in bathing suit for some scenes and being on a boat and very comfortable swimming in the water. this character has an outdoorsy type look, nothing too elegant

DARREN: Male, Caucasian, 25-40, blonde or grayish hair or balding. Full beard, average frame. Does NOT need a British accent.

MIKE: Male, Caucasian, 45-65, Large frame, Actor will need to speak with a good British Accent or be British. Actor must be comfortable being on a boat

MARY: Female, Caucasian, 40-55, average frame, blonde. Actress will need to speak in a British Accent or be British Actress must be comfortable being on a boat.

ASIAN PIRATES: Asian, 19-22, smaller framed, darker skinned, rugged, likely bearded or scruffy, speak broken english but limited speaking.

COLOMBIAN PIRATES: 19-22, smaller framed, darker skinned, rugged, likely bearded or scruffy,
speak broken english but limited speaking.

‘Billions’ Season 4 New York Casting Call for a Basketball Scene

Showtime’s BILLIONS season 3 is now casting basketball players for a scene in New York City.

Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for Hedge Fund types playing basketball to work on Season 4 of the Showtime series “Billions” Producers are looking for guys ages 20 to 50 years old, all ethnicities. Filming will shoot on Monday, February 11th in New York City.

About Billions:

 Wealth, influence, and corruption collide in this drama set in New York. Shrewd U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades is embroiled in a high-stakes game of predator vs. prey with Bobby Axelrod, an ambitious hedge-fund king. To date, Rhoades has never lost an insider trading case — he’s 81-0 — but when criminal evidence turns up against Axelrod, he proceeds cautiously in building the case against Axelrod, who employs Rhoades’ wife, psychiatrist Wendy, as a performance coach for his company. Wendy, who has been in her position longer than Chuck has been in his, refuses to give up her career for her husband’s legal crusade against Axelrod. Both men use their intelligence, power, and influence to outmaneuver the other in this battle over billions. The high-profile cast is led by Emmy winners Paul Giamatti (“John Adams”) and Damian Lewis (“Homeland”) as Chuck Rhoades and Bobby Axelrod, respectively.

FX’s ‘Atlanta’ Season 3 Delayed

If you wanted to audition or even just watch the third season of Atlanta, you will have to wait.

At the Television Critics Association press tour on Monday, it was announced the upcoming season would be delayed.

“I don’t know whether we’ll have Atlanta or not. The writers are back working right now, thank God.” said FX chief John Landgraf, confirming that the show will not be back for “this Emmy cycle.”

Landgraf further explained, “As you might imagine, Donald Glover is sort of the king of all media, and he just has had an incredibly complicated life. He’s had personal things he’s had to deal with, from injuries to other things I’d rather not say publicly that just have to do with not with his personal life but his extended family. So I think one of the things that is just a reality of television today is you have to wait. We have so many things now that don’t cycle back on a regular basis … From my standpoint, I wish for the fans as well as for us that we could get everything back on an annual basis but, again, you just have to make a decision about quantity over quality at a certain point — and we’re just erring on the side of quality.”

During the Sundance premiere of her upcoming film, Wounds, Zazie Beetz said:  “Ideally we would be shooting now; that’s not happening. Everybody’s schedules are sort of all over the place — they’re hoping for spring sometime, but no dates. Everybody’s busy, and Donald [Glover] had his tour in the fall, and that doesn’t lend itself to time for scriptwriting. I know that they have a couple of episodes together, but I don’t have any real information.”

It is important to note Glover’s father died late last year.

Liam Neeson’s Movie Premiere Canceled After Actor’s Comments

Lionsgate announced on Tuesday the cancellation of the red carpet New York City premiere of the upcoming Liam Neeson movie “Cold Pursuit” after the actor revealed he wanted to kill some “black b–“ when a close friend told him she was raped.

Neeson made the comments during an interview with The Independent, which was published Monday. The 66-year-old actor said he experienced a “primal urge to lash out,” after a black man raped a friend.

“After that, there were some nights I went out deliberately into black areas in this city, looking to be set upon so that I could unleash physical violence. I did it for maybe four or five times. It really shocked me, this primal urge I had. It shocked me, and it hurt me. I did seek help. I went to a priest. I had two very good friends I talked to, and believe it or not — power walking — to get rid of this.”

Neeson appeared on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday where he said his comments were taken out of context. He told Robin Roberts he is not racist and moved past his desire for violence after seeking help from a priest and his friends.

Lionsgate has not commented publicly. But, according to Variety, Lionsgate decided to pull the plug on the red carpet following the controversy surrounding Liam Neeson’s interview.

A premiere of the film without the red carpet was still scheduled for New York City’s Loews Lincoln Square, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

  • SEEKING: Male. Age range is 35 to 50 years old. Looking for someone large in size as he is a wrestler or open to Wrestler types. He represents naps. Sleep. The 3PM crash. A physically large man. Must be fit and not overweight but not a body builder type. His wrestling gimmick is ‘The Crasher’. If he were to get his arms around you, he’d bear hug you into dreamland. While his size makes him threatening, he needs to have a cuddly lethargic feel to him. A big badass baby. He viciously hunts people down and then gently coddles them to sleep. They want a big guy, big and tall but not super muscular, just someone who’s naturally huge with a big presence. They want to avoid tattoos, more of a friendly giant with a soft face.
