Netflix is working on a Hulk Hogan biopic starring Chris Hemsworth.
Chris Hemsworth has been tapped to play Hulk Hogan in a movie in development at Netflix with Todd Phillips directing. John Pollono will write the script with Scott Silver. Silver and Pollen recently teamed up to work on Warner Bros.’ upcoming “The Joker” movie, which filmed in New York City.
The upcoming Hulk Hogan biopic is said to center on the rise of Hulk Hogan and his “Hulkamania”, which made the wrestler a pop culture icon. Hogan’s life rights were acquired in the deal, according to Deadline. Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, is aboard as a consultant and executive producer.
