If you need a little bit of extra energy to deal with an actor, I hear they are making a 24 Hour Energy Drink.

Acting is not easy. You have to memorize pages of dialogue. Attend events to meet with producers, casting directors, and managers to boost your career. Actors have to manage their Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Vines, and e-mail accounts. In addition, actors have to show up on set early every morning ready for a 16 hours a day. That is tough.

Tyra Banks to return to TV with a new Talk show on ABC.

Tyra Banks was once considered the next Oprah Winfrey. With her interviews and emotional confessions, Tyra Banks had the future of day-time television in the palms of her hands. But, that dream later floundered.

Now, Tyra Banks is making her way back to Daytime television with a new talk show. This time Tyra Banks will be joined by a panel of lifestyle experts. According to TheWrap, Banks and her hosts will use their social media following to connect with the television show for a “cross-platform” experience for viewers.

“Tyra is an enormous and vibrant talent with widespread appeal and we’re eager to introduce her new lifestyle show that will incorporate her personal message of self-confidence to the syndication marketplace,” said Disney-ABC Domestic Television president Janice Marinelli in a statement.

Tyra Banks also commented on her return to daytime television, “The fire to inspire women and help them to blaze new paths fiercely burns inside of me. Tyra Banks previous talk show ran from 2005 until 2009. In 2010, The CW picked up the television series and later cancelled it after one season.

The former model and producer has had a longstanding TV career with her popular television series “America’s Next Top Model.” Last year, The CW renewed the show for it’s 21st season.

VH1 also gave the greenlight to Tyra Bank’s new television docu-series “TransAmerica,” which follows a group of Chicago women united by their shared experience of being transgender.

Tyra Banks started her career in the entertainment industry at 15 years old when she started modeling while attending school in Los Angeles. She was first rejected by four modeling agencies before she signed to Elite Model Management.

She got the chance to model in Europe and put college on hold and moved to Milan. In her first runway season, she was booked in 25 shows and would later grace the covers of magazines such as Elle, Teen Vogue and Vogue. She would walk the runways for Chanel, Valentino, Fendi and others.

10 Highest Rated TV Shows Cancelled this Year

It is interesting to see how many shows were cancelled this year, even though they had better ratings then other television shows.

Such shows include Robin Williams CBS sitcom, “Crazy Ones“. “Crazy Ones” received better ratings than any other canceled show in 2013.

According to TheWrap, CBS has strict standards for their TV shows. “CBS has stringent standards for its shows, which may explain why it was responsible for so many of the cancellations. It slipped in 2013-14 to No. 3 in the key 18-49 demographic, down from first-place the season before. So the network was ruthless in getting rid of what wasn’t working.”

NBC cancelled several shows this year as well, but it is most likely their goal to remain the number one network.

Producers for ‘Almost Human‘ may be a little upset as well to know that their show was cancelled despite getting higher ratings in comparison to “Bones“. But, it is most likely due to the fact that Bones has been around much longer and FOX wanted to make room for their TV pilots.

Ultimately, some networks just have higher standards than others. The CW cancelled “The Tomorrow People“, and “Reign” survived, despite both television shows having thee same ratings.

But, at the end of the day cancellations is more than just ratings. It is a complicated decision that executives discuss for weeks and it comes down to more than just ratings. Consistency, upcoming productions, and budgets have a major impact as to why a show is cancelled.

Liam Neeson is back at it again in ‘A Walk Among the Tombstones’ Trailer

Lawrence Block‘s novel turned movie, has finally released a trailer. Universal has released the first moving images of Scott Frank’s thriller “A Walk Among the Tombstones” starring Liam Neeson.

The movie is based on Lawrence Block‘s bestselling series of mystery novels centering on a former NYPD cop Matthew Scudder who works as an unlicensed private eye.

Neeson plays Matthew Scudder, whoa trees to help a drug trafficker hunt down the men who murdered his wife. The movie was produced by Danny DeVito, Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher.

The film adaptation of Lawrence Block’s novel had been in development for several years with a script from Scott Frank. In 2002, Harrison Ford was attached to star andD.J. Caruso to direct. Liam Neeson later took the job of leading actor.

The movie trailer centers on Liam Neeson using his deadly skills he famously used in the “Taken” movies.

“A Walk Among the Tombstones” hits theaters on September 19th.

Watch “Kill the Messenger” starring Jeremy Renner new movie trailer

Focus features has recently released the first trailer for “Kill the Messenger,” a thriller starring Jeremy Renner as Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Gary Webb.

“Kill the Messenger” centers on the CIA’s Central American cocaine ring and questions the government’s treatment of whistleblowers in the United States.

“Kill the Messenger” is based off the book “Dark Alliance“. Webb investigated Nicaraguans and linked the CIA-backed Contras who had smuggled cocaine into the United States. Their smuggled cocaine was then distributed as crack cocaine in Los Angeles, and profits funneled back to the Contras. This helped fuel the crack cocaine epidemic of the 1980s. According to Gary Webb, the CIA was aware of the cocaine transactions and Webb accused the Reagan administration for protecting inner-city drug dealers from prosecution to raise money.

Gary Webb would later become a part of a smear campaign that threatened his kids, his wife, family, and life.

“Kill the Messenger” was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia nearly a year ago. It features Michael Sheen, Andy Garcia, Ray Liotta, Barry Pepper, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rosemarie DeWitt, Paz Vega and Oliver Platt.

“Kill the Messengers” will hit theaters on Oct. 10. Check out the trailer below:

Bryan Cranston Says ‘Breaking Bad’ is Not Over [VIDEO]

Bryan Cranston discussed in an interview that ‘Breaking Bad is not over’.

Bryan Cranston was recently talking about the final episode of Breaking Bad on Thursday, and he has some good news for ‘Breaking Bad’ fans.

Bryan Cranston said that the story of Walter White is only done when he says it’s done.

CNN’s Ashleigh Banfield interviewed Cranston as a guest on Thursday, and at the ender of the interview she asked him to clarify the ending of the series finale.

Banfield: That final scene, that final image… I wasn’t so sure that you died. I really wasn’t. Your eyes were open, and I thought, ‘What if the police just take him into custody, he gets better, breaks out, and just goes nuts?’

Cranston: Hey, you never saw bags zip up or anything, or anybody say… you know.

What is interesting is that Bryan Cranston was only interested in looking into productions that matched the quality of ‘Breaking Bad’.

he explained that he almost passed on Godzilla because he was trying to hold any new script to the high standards that he experienced on Breaking Bad. Fortunately, one of his agents talked some sense into him and he ended up starring as Joe Brody. [Uproxx]

AMC’s ‘Breaking Bad‘ is now a television classic. ‘Breaking Bad‘ center on Walter White played by Bryan Cranston a chemistry teacher turned Meth drug dealer after finding out he has cancer. Filming was set and produced in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The hit television series was created and produced by Vince Gilligan. Gilligan is now working on the spin-off/pre-quel to ‘Breaking Bad‘, titled ‘Better Call Saul‘.

Is it possible a sequel to ‘Breaking Bad‘ will come out in the near future? Who knows, but the best part is Bryan Cranston has not given up on the character that changed his career.

Have you ever wanted to become an actor? Well a recent study shows your significant other has a bigger impact than you think.

It is easy to think that working as a team is better than working by yourself. Think about it, you have your boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse to help you tackle any obstacle that comes your way.

But, think again, the reason why you haven’t made a budget in the last couple of months or, the reason why you quit your New Year’s Resolution after five months is your significant other’s fault (or yours).

Time has recently reported on a study out of Boston College. The study says, that despite your best intentions to complete any goal, your motivation level is dependent upon the person who has the lowest amount of inspiration.

“Self-control is essentially a social enterprise,” writes Hristina Dzhogleva, an assistant professor of marketing at Boston College and lead author of the new paper. In a series of experiments with both real couples and lab simulations, the researchers found that the people with higher self-control tend to cave and give into the more indulgent preferences of their partners in order to keep peace in the relationships.

The study shows that if you are a person that has a lot of self-control avoid partnering with someone who has low self control. “Higher self-control individuals should be wary of partnering with low self- control individuals,” adding it “may negate their innate advantages in pursuing long-term goals.” 

So, if you are interested in becoming an actor, a businessman, or reaching your goals it would be best to find someone who is as driven as you are. If not they are just holding you back from achieving your dreams.

According to Deadline, The movie’s start has moved several times and Will Smith‘s decision to leave came down to timing. Previously, Russell Crowe was tapped to star in the movie. But, Crowe decided to back out of the production.

The movie centers on a world where a rare set of people are born with extraordinary abilities and are called “brilliants.” The movie revolves around a federal agent with great hunting gifts who is drafted to track down a terrorist, another brilliant who is planning to start a civil war.

Will Smith has been highly selective about what productions he will work on. Recently, he declined the offer to reprise his role in Independence Day sequel.

We recently posted a casting call seeking child actors to play Will Smith’s daughter. There is no word as to whether the casting call is still ongoing. We will keep you updated.

Revived alongside Ichabod is the infamous Headless Horseman who is on a murderous rampage in present-day Sleepy Hollow. Ichabod quickly realizes that stopping Headless is just the beginning, as the resurrected rider is but the first of theFour Horsemen of the Apocalypse and only one of the many formidable foes that Ichabod must face to protect not only Sleepy Hollow, but the world (FOX).

UPDATE (May 30, 2014): Casting directors are now casting for additional roles in Atlanta.

CL casting is currently seeking 16 to 17 year olds to work on June 3rd in Atlanta. They are looking for all different ethnicities, looks, and sizes.

The movie centers on a young kid teams up with the niece of young adult horror author R.L. Stine after the writer’s imaginary demons are set free on the town of Greendale, Maryland. The movie stars, Jack Black and will film in Atlanta, Georgia.

Sony pictures is picking up the Goosebumps movie starring Jack Black as an R.L. Stinewriter who finds his horrific creatings coming to life. If the movie is anything like the books, expect the movie to have cliffhangers every five minutes.
