Tyler Perry’s ‘If Loving You is Wrong’ Open Casting Call in Atlanta

Tyler Perry’s new show ‘If Loving You is Wrong’ is holding an open casting call from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m this Saturday.

The new series is a spinoff from the movie “Single Moms Club” and will be Tyler Perry‘s latest show to air on his friend Oprah Winfrey‘s  Network (OWN).

The first episode of ‘If Loving You is Wrong‘ is set to premiere in September and will be created, written, directed and executive produced by Tyler Perry and centers on the relationships of a group of husbands and wives that live and love on the same street. While the neighbors are all from different backgrounds, their lives are really similar. But, secrets, lies and deception threaten to destroy what they have built.

‘If Loving You is Wrong‘ stars Zulay Henao, Charles Malik Whitfield, and Aiden Turner.

Marinella Hume Casting is in search of local talent to be featured in Tyler Perry’s new show. Casting Directors are looking for hipsters, and VIP Club Goers. Producers are looking for all ethnicities ages 18 and up. All of the positions are paid.

Tony Zhou’s ‘Art of Silence‘ video explores how the award-winning director, Martin Scorsese (The Wolf of Wall Street) uses silence in his movies.

Silence is a key characteristic of Martin Scorsese’s movies.

The Oscar-winning director is famous for his work on “Goodfellas“, “Casino“, “The Departed” and most recently “The Wolf of Wall Street” but as this video essay demonstrates, the filmmaker loves to use silence to draw the audience into the scene.

Zhou cut together several silent shots and scenes from nearly all of Martin Scorsese‘s work and Zhou discusses how the use of silence in film makes a scene stand out, and amazing.

“Even though Martin Scorsese is famous for his use of music, one of his best traits is his deliberate and powerful use of silence,” Zhou says, in his Vimeo description for the video essay. “Take a glimpse at fifty years of this simple technique from one of cinema’s masters.”

Scorsese’s use of sound and the mute button makes him different than any other filmmaker out there.

Currently, Martin Scorsese is producing and directing a new HBO TV pilot. The untitled drama explores the drugs and sex of the 1970?s New York music business as disco and punk music were on the rise. According to Variety, the show will be depicted through the eyes of Cannavale’s Richie Finestra, a record exec trying to build a record label and find the next new sound.

Producers held an open casting call for actors several weeks ago but, filming is still ongoing throughout New York City.

Robert De Niro just crashed someone’s world cup party in Brooklyn

Robert De Niro, is currently filming in New York City for his new movie The Intern, and reportedly he just joined some unsuspecting World Cup fans at their home in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn to watch the U.S.-Germany match.

According to Business Insider, Warner Bros. e-mailed a different resident in the neighborhood to ask whether De Niro could stop by and watch the game:

“Our lead actor, Robert DeNiro, would very much like to watch the World Cup game, today at 12p,” the email said. “Would it be possible to place a small portable satellite on the building rooftop ASAP and run a cable to the street to help facilitate this request?”

The people denied the actor’s presence, however, when he found a World Cup party in progress and decided to join in.

An unnamed resident told Business Insider that “We got another email from a neighbor saying he talked to the crew and apparently he found a house of people watching it and joined them.”

“The Intern” is directed by Nancy Meyers and the story would center on Anne Hathaway starring as the founder of a successful company who, as part of a new program, takes in a senior citizen (De Niro) to be her intern.

Critics hate Michael Bay’s latest Transformers movie, Transformers: Age of Extinction

There are probably a ton of people who love Michael Bay‘s work. He does his own camera work, he has a good eye for casting actors in his movies, and he creates amazing action scenes.

That being said, the first three “Transformer” movies were big Hollywood and Blockbuster hits. Now, the latest Transformers movies is receiving some of the worst ratings out of all of Michael Bay‘s movies.

Currently on Rotten Tomatoes critics are giving it a 10% rating. Making it a real possibility that this will be Michael Bay‘s worst reviewed movie ever.

Here are a few ratings from some of the top critics:

James Beradinelli says the movie is an “excruciating a movie as is likely to be experienced by anyone, anywhere.”

This is as excruciating a movie as is likely to be experienced by anyone, anywhere. It isn’t merely that the story is insulting, the characters are bland, the action is dull, and the CGI is everywhere – it’s that all this goes on for nearly three hours. That’s three hours of your life you’ll never get back.

Scott Bowles from USA Today said, “The Transformers are brilliant, brave, world-conquering space travelers. Time to morph into something entertaining.”

Deafening, deadening and about two hours too long, Extinction, would mark the weakest installment yet of the 7-year-old Hasbro franchise — if the previous three movies were discernible from one another.

David Hiltbrand from the Philadelphia Inquirer says “Go if you must, but bring earplugs.”

Actually, director Michael Bay’s fourth heavy-metal installment is sensory overload in every sense. Noise, action, rubble. Which wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t so punishingly long – 2 hours and 45 minutes of furious pandemonium. You leave the cineplex feeling bludgeoned.

At the end of the day, most movie critics have extremely high expectations. But, at the end of the day Michael Bay‘s ‘Transformer‘ movie will still make between $100 to 120 million dollars this weekend.

Watch Nancy Grace Inform A Man On The Air That His Missing Son Had Been Found Alive In His Basement

This is a pretty crazy story, and I will not be surprised if more details surface in the next week or so.

Here are the details, according to the Detroit Free Press, 12-year-old Charlie Bothuell V was reported missing on June 14th. His father notifed the authorities and over the last ten days, an immense search was conducted by police, the FBI, and even search dogs.

Unable to locate the body, the police assumed it was a homicide, with the father and stepmother of Charlie as possible suspects. The step-mother refused to take a polygraph test.

However, on Tuesday night, while being interviewed about the case on air by Nancy Gracy, Charlie Bothuel learned that his son had been found in the basement of the father’s house.

As you can see from the video below, the father is completely stunned. The other weird twist is that the fact that after 10 days of search, is that the child had been concealed by a makeshift barricade that police don’t believe the child could have made. The kid was crouched behind a large container, and there was food nearby. While child did not call out, he was very happy to see the police.

It begs the question, why was the kid in the basement? Why was he concealed behind a barricade? Why did he have food? The father asserts that he had no idea his son was in the vasement. Somebody must have known the child was in the basement. Somebody must’ve known about the barrier. This story sounds sketchy.

Voice Expert Says Michael Jackson’s Voice is Not on His New Album

Michael Jackson has sold more albums since his death than in the last 13 years of his life.

TheKing of Pop has sold 13.228 million albums since his death in 2009, in comparison to 13.152 million from 1996 to 2008.

Michael Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009, and since he passed away he has record setting album sales. Jackson’s album and digital sales were through the roof.

In fact, the past five years have been some of the strongest sales ever since. According to the company’s information, Michael Jackson has sold 13.228 million albums since he passed away. In the five years prior to his death he only sold 3.934 million.

Michael Jackson‘s record sales dropped tremendously following the child sexual abuse allegations were filed against him. In 1994, Michael Jackson settled the case out of court, but the impact was profound. The scandals hurt his career and had a lasting effect.

Michael Jackson passed away while rehearsing for his concerts titled, “This is It,” with the singer calling for his retirement after the show. The previous years Michael Jackson struggling financially and the concert was set up to to make millions.

There have been accusations and lawsuits saying that several songs are not actually Michael Jackson singing.

The lawsuit, filed by California woman Vera Serova in Superior Court in Los Angeles County on Thursday, questions whether it’s actually Jackson’s vocals on the tracks “Breaking News,” “Monster” and “Keep Your Head Up.”

Serova claims that “several members of Jackson’s family” have disputed the authenticity of the tracks. And, even though Sony subsequently went on record stating that it has “complete confidence” that it’s Jackson singing the songs, Serova says she enlisted an independent audio expert who concluded that “it was very likely” that the vocals aren’t those of Jackson. Since Michael Jackson is selling more records now than ever before, it would be hard for anyone to believe that Sony will not try to create music and say Michael Jackson sang it.

Middle America still doesn’t care about the World Cup.

In this interesting infographic, created by TheWrap, each soccer ball represents one of ESPN’s top markets for last Sunday’s U.S. Portugal game, which had 18.2 million viewers.

You will notice that all of the biggest markets are along the coast and mostly in the Northeast.

According to TheWrap, it has a lot to do with immigration.

Perhaps because soccer is an international game, and the coastal states are the most convenient places for soccer fans from foreign lands to take up residence. Perhaps they have the strongest ties to the Old World, where soccer is a religion. But we don’t really know.

‘American Horror Story: Freak Show‘ is now hiring crew members and casting extras to appear in the upcoming TV series filming in New Orleans.

‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ starts filming in New Orleans on July 14th. According to Louisiana Entertainment, American Horror Story: Freak Show will film from July 14th through December throughout the city of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Filming will take place in New Orleans and the surrounding areas. Filming will start mid July 2014 through the end of December 2014. “Triple Nine” Starring Norman Reedus and Aaron Paul are currently seeking people to appear in the movie filming in Atlanta.

Casting directors are looking for actors to work as extras in featured roles in the upcoming “Triple Nine” feature film.

‘Triple Nine’ is the latest production from Open Road Films which features Casey Affleck, Norman Reedus, Woody Harrelson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Kate Winslet, Anthony Mackie, Aaron Paul, Teresa Palmer and from the cast of Batman Vs Superman, Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman).

Triple Nine centers on a crew of dirty cops that attempt a robbery. But, something goes terribly wrong.

Amazon Streaming series, ‘Hysteria’ TV pilot posted a casting call for extras to play suburban parents in Austin, Texas.

“Hysteria” centers on Dr. Logan Harlow, an exceptionally bright, driven, complicated, charming but socially awkward neurologist/psychiatrist at the University of Texas Medical School who travels to her hometown of Austin to investigate a mysterious epidemic among high school girls that may be spreading through technology.

Dr. Logan Harlow is played by Mena Suvari from “American Beauty”.
