The Walking Dead Mystery: Why Did Shane Rub His Head All the Time?

0

Why did Shane rub his head so much on ‘The Walking Dead’?

Read more How to Audition for The Walking Dead Season 6

If you don’t recall Season 1 and Season 2 of The Walking Dead, then here’s a quick recap. Shane Walsh was a main character and survivor in AMC’s The Walking Dead. He was Rick’s partner at the King County Sheriff’s Department and his best friend since high school. After the initial outbreak, Shane started having feelings for Lori, Rick’s wife. He later became one of the main members of the survivor group camped outside Atlanta.

[Spoiler Alert] Shane would later get killed by Rick in the season finale of The Walking Dead. Shane lures Rick out to a field in the middle of the forest by pretending to look for an escaped Randall, however Rick realizes Shane’s story and comes to the conclusion that Shane brought him out there to kill him. Rick makes it seem as though he’s handing Shane his weapon, as he refused to be armed. Once his gun is in Shane’s hand, Rick pulls out his knife and stabs Shane in the chest, saying he brought this on himself. Shane then dies.

Was it bad acting or a hidden plotline? Either way Shane loved to rub his head while he was on ‘The Walking Dead’. It’s a question that has confused every observer of The Walking Dead.

Macklemore aka “Mucklemore” joined Sesame Street legend, ‘Oscar the Grouch’ on Sesame Street to sing a parody of “Thrift Shop,” reworked to include lyrics about trash.

“This is gross and awesome,” sings Macklemore in the clip as he dances around with the green puppet and pops out of a trash can. This special Sesame Street performance was originally filmed in 2013 but, hundreds of kids probably wouldn’t mind hearing ‘Trash Shop’ one more time.

Jimmy Kimmel had some really mean tweets planned during the College Football National Championship.

This isn’t the first time some of these guys have read a mean tweet, but it’s always funny to see celebrities reactions to these things.

Here’s Matthew McConaughey’s Audition Tape for ‘Dazed and Confused’

Check Out Matthew McConaughey’s Original Audition Tape For ‘Dazed And Confused’

Since Matthew McConaughey won an Academy Award for Best Actor, he has been everywhere. From Lincoln commercials to Jim Carrey parody’s on Saturday Night. 2014 was most definitely McConaughey’s year.

But, before landing the role on ‘Dallas Buyers Club’, Matthew McConaughey had a small role on ‘Dazed and Confused‘. Several years ago, McConaughey was a young 23 year old aspring actor who had met the casting director of Dazed and Confused at a Hyatt bar where McConaughey’s friend used to bartend and give him free beer.

That apparently led to this Dazed and Confused audition tape, released today by the Criterion Collection. Matthew McConaughey stars alongside Wiley Wiggins. It is completely obvious that McConaughey was perfect for the role of Wooderson.

Following Dazed and Confused, McConaughey drove to Hollywood to become an actor, and defying absolutely every actor story you’ve ever heard, booked two consecutive parts at his very first two auditions.

For his second, for Angels in the Outfield (starring a young Joseph Gordon-Levitt), the part was for a baseball player. So McConaughey bought an old baseball hat at a 7/11, and walked in the room with the sun streaming in behind him, looking like a bronze Texas God-king. The director asked, “Have you played any ball?” “For 12 years,” McConaughey told him. “You’re hired,” said the director. [via]

It’s All About Survival in the Latest Walking Dead Season 5 Trailer

The Walking Dead Season 5 Trailer is here and it looks pretty depressing.

The Walking Dead returns from their mid-season break February 8th but because fans can’t wait until the series returns, AMC has released a trailer to give the world a preview of what to expect when Season 5 returns.

The new promo features Rick and his gang of survivors walking through the woods extremely paranoid and shooting at potential zombies. It doesn’t really explain much, other than AMC loves to keep fans on the edge of their seats. Regardless, Season 5 looks like it is going to be pretty sad.

Every Country Song Sounded the Same in 2014 [VIDEO]

0

A new video reveals that every country song sounded the same again in 2014.

Towards the end of 2013, country music critic Grady Smith made a huge revelation, that the most popular songs in Country music were basically all the same song.

“I hope country fans will stop settling for this derivative junk. I love a dumb party song every once in a while (including some of these!), but when they’re the only flavor available, they get old very, very fast. Here’s to better music in 2014,” he wrote at the time, “Here’s to better music in 2014.”

However, that did not work out for him.

Here is a mashup of six recent pop-country hits, four of which were released in 2014, that sound so alike that you can play them on top of each other and lose almost nothing.

Here’s to hoping for better music in 2015.

Late Robin Williams Helped a Co-Star Ask a Girl to Prom

Watch the late Robin Williams help a co-star ask a girl to prom.

In an interview with co-star of the late Robin Williams, Skyler Gisondo explains that Williams  used his unique comedic talents to help him ask a girl to the prom.

Gisondo stars in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tombplaying Ben Stiller’s son. If you watched the Night at the Museuem franchise, you can recall that Robin Williams played Teddy Roosevelt in the trilogy. During filming, Robin Williams and Ben Stiller joined Gisondo, a high school senior, to help him ask a girl to the prom.

From the Hollywood Reporter:

Gisondo, who plays the son of Ben Stiller‘s character in the film, was a senior in high school during shooting. He was away from home, and his pals were also asking girls to the prom, so he decided to see if co-stars Stiller and Robin Williams would appear for a few seconds in a video to ask his prospective date.

“All morning, Robin was pitching more ideas,” Gisondo tells The Hollywood Reporter. He was saying ‘Can I say this? Would it be appropriate to say this?’ You’re Robin Williams. You can say whatever you want!”

The video became more elaborate as Williams and Stiller continued to pitch ideas.

“It turned into this three-minute, ridiculous thing. A prom-posal,” says Gisondo. “I realized that was the most awesome three minutes of my life and I’ve accepted it will go downhill from there.”

The girl accepted Gisondo’s invitation. “Robin was this bottomless reservoir of kindness and hilarity,” Gisondo told THR. “

‘Get Hard’ Trailer Starring Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell is Hilarious [VIDEO]

Watch the Hilarious Movie Trailer for Kevin Hart’s ‘Get Hard’

Living in the one percent does not really prepare you for a life in prison. So when millionaire hedge fund manager James, played by Will Ferrell is found guilty for fraud, the judge gives him 30 days to get all of his life in order, before has to do a stretch of time in San Quentin. Flustered and afraid, Ferrell’s character decides he needs to prep for his time in jail. And to him, what better way to do so then ask Darnell, played by Kevin Hart, to help him prepare.

The movie pokes fun at the politically incorrect situation, especially by playing the differences in cultures for the 1% and lower income individuals. But, the movie centers around two men who come together in order to complete the task of preparing Ferrell’s character for a 10 year prison sentence, and they do whatever it takes for Ferrell’s character to “Get Hard.” Bu, in the process they end up discovering how wrong they were about many things including their impressions of each other.

Get Hard was filmed in New Orleans earlier this year and casting directors were constantly looking for background extras, and actors to fill various roles in the movie.

The movie was written by Etan Cohen, writer of Tropic Thunder and Men in Black 3, he is also directing this movie in his full length debut. Cohen’s writing is always silly yet smart, so it will be very interesting to see when his own directing takes a film. Get Hard features Alison Brie, Will Ferrell, and Kevin Hart is scheduled to hit theaters on March 27, 2015.

‘True Story’ Movie Trailer Starring James Franco and Jonah Hill is Amazing

Watch the new ‘True Story’ movie trailer starring James Franco and Jonah Hill

If you are upset that you are no longer be able to see James Franco‘s acting skills in The Interview, the upcoming thriller, True Story may quench your thirst. True Story is directed by Rupert Goold, the Sundance drama series follows James Franco engaging in a completely different direction than his traditional comedic acting.

James Franco plays Christian Longo, a man wanted for mudering his family. He goes on the run and assumes the identity of New York Times reporter Michael Finkel – to the surprise of the real Michael Finkel, played by Jonah Hill.

The premise of True Story sounds pretty interesting and extremely wild, but as the story suggests, it is based on a true story. Finkel published a memoir about his bizarre encounter with Longo in 2006, and it serves as the source material for the film. The movie was written by David Kajganich and True Story director Rupert Goold.

We posted a casting call for ‘True Story’ on Febraury 2013. Grant Wilfley Casting was looking for family members at the time of production in New York City.
