“Loomis Fargo” starring Zach Galifianakis and Owen Wilson posted a casting call seeking extras in North Carolina.

The movie centers on the 1997 Loomis Fargo warehouse robbery that occurred in Charlotte, North Carolina where a night guard at an armored car company organizes one of the biggest bank heists in history.

Galifianakis plays a disgruntled armored car driver who teams up with a pretty co-worker and a group of inexperienced criminals to steal nearly $20 million from a bank vault. The thieves leave a trail of evidence as they go on an excessive spending spree buying mansions, sports cars and boats. To add insult to injury, the driver’s team double-cross him and leave him alone on the run in Mexico while they live the good life in the United States.

Danny McBride and Jody Hill from Eastbound & Down will executive produce the project alongside Kevin J. Messick.

Tona B. Dahlquist Casting is currently casting extras for “Loomis Fargo” filming in Asheville, North Carolina starting in July.

The film is tentatively titled “Untitled Armored Car Project/Loomis Fargo”, so expect the title of the movie to change as the movie nears completion.

The major motion picture “Untitled Armored Car Project” is seeking those interested in working as extras. Filming will take place in the Asheville area this July and August. Those interested in submitting should include the following in their submission;

The “Untitled Armored Car” Movie is seeking those with vehicles dating from late 1980’s -1997. All vehicles should be in decent to great shape and able to be driven.

If you own such a vehicle, please send us a photo/snapshot of your vehicle as well it’s information (Color,Make.Model,Year), owners name, phone and city/state the vehicle s located in.

• Seeking Males & Females AGES 60 & UP!
• Seeking a Male 40’s – 50’s MAGNUM PI ish but with a hairy body -Submit heading HAIRY GUY. Include a picture of chest (and back if it’s hairy as well).
• Seeking those with LATE 1980’s -1997 VEHICLES in decent shape and drivable. Submit with heading OLDER CAR. Make sure you include your vehicle information in the email.
• Seeking some Males who can portray TOUGH & ROUGH Types.
• Seeking Ken and Barbie type Male and Female. Catalogue Model Types.
