| A funny, inventive, creative writer/producer, strategic planner and mega project juggler for the daily topical promotion of a new daily entertainment news show, Dish Nation. Must be a writer who does not rely on hackneyed ‘90s promo copy and knows how to identify and magnify the sound bites everyone else missed. Must work with editors to craft award winning visionary on-air marketing.
If you can craft TV and Radio spots that reach out and grab a viewer’s attention, constantly strive to raise the creative bar, refuse to adapt to a formula, dare to find new ways to do what we do, have an awareness of the latest video effects, graphics, pop culture and music trends…if you live and breathe creative advertising, we want to hear from you.
The right candidate for this position must be confident and experienced working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to demonstrate solid executive interaction. You must possess a proven track record of successful, innovative and contemporary on-air marketing and promotion.
Entertainment news and/or comedy experience preferred but not required.
Your portfolio:
Please only submit work pertinent to entertainment marketing only. Reels/links demonstrating other disciplines will not be considered. Must represent creative work written and conceived 100% by the candidate. There is zero tolerance (and immediate dismissal if candidate is hired) for submitting material that is conceived collaboratively or partially gestated.
Job basics include:
- Write and produce daily on-air, radio and special event spots including sizzle presentations.
- Constant interaction with show EPs, studio marketing execs and in-house creative agency.
- Strategize all daily marketing and long range plans throughout the season.
- Supervise all editing, graphics and final post-production.
- Maintain a reliable and consistent shift starting at 1:30AM Monday-Friday
