Fantastic Four Reboot posted a casting call for extras in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The movie stars Toby Kebbell (Dr. Doom), Tim Blake Nelson as Harvey Elder (Mole Man), Miles Teller as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Kate Mara as Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Jamie Bellas Ben Grimm (The Thing), and Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm (The Human Torch).
The reboot of the Marvel property centered on four astronauts who gain superpowers after cosmic radiation exposure.
The director of “Chronicle”, Josh Trank, will be directing this production. As for plot details out side of that, has been quite secret. However, the internet has speculated as to how the movie will pan out such as a possible X-Men cross-over in the future.
Mark Millar, the Marvel Films creative consult has described the movie as as contemporary take on the comic book.
“The movies I want to be a part of, the movies I want to see, mirror the life that I live, the world that I live in,” he said. “Everything isn’t black and white in the world that we live in. It’s a very grounded superhero film. … It’s so relatable, it mirrors the world we walk around in today.”
Batherson Casting is currently looking for men and women to work as extras in scenes filming in Baton Rouge, Lousiana. Casting directors posted a casting call on Facebook looking for people ages 18 and older to appear in the movie.
According to the reported casting call it is a day shoot with an early call time. Filming will take place outside for a “Winter Scene in Manhattan”. Casting directors are asking talent to bring clothing that will be layered.
Filming is scheduled to take place on June 21st.

Warner Bros. announced today that they are rebooting the live-action series Scooby-Doo.
The 2002 movie made $275 million dollars world wide and the 2004 sequel made $180 million.
The previous films featured Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard, and Linda Cardellini as teen detectives.
As Deadline pointed out, the time period between reboots is getting shorter and shorter. Warner Bros is currently in the early stages of launching a new Scooby Doo series.
The studio is looking toward Randall Green to create a new Scooby-Doo series.
Scooby-Doo was aired on CBS from 1969 to 1976, when it moved to ABC. ABC aired the show until canceling it in 1986, and presented a spin-off featuring the characters as children,A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, from 1988 until 1991.
New Scooby-Doo series aired as part of Kids WB on The WB Network and then, The CWNetwork, from 2002 until 2008. The most recent Scooby-Doo series, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, aired on Cartoon Network from 2010 to 2013, with a new series, Be Cool Scooby-Doo!, announced to debut on Cartoon Network in 2014-15.

Kevin Hart nearly pees on himself after riding a roller coaster on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Filming for ‘The Tonight Show‘ at Universal Orlando Resort took place all week. During that point in time, Jimmy Fallon took advantage of his location and persuaded Kevin Hart to face his fears on Tuesday at the “home of the greatest roller coasters in the world.”
Rather than jumping on the ride, Kevin Hart sad “Y0u know damn well I don’t like no roller casters … my palms were so clammy. You made me do it,” he complained.
Mounted cameras on the front of the car seats allowed for us to enjoy every moment of their terrifying experience.
Hart was so scared he could not even respond to Jimmy Fallon‘s questions.
Kevin Hart was so scared about the whole ordeal that his hands started sweating again when he started talking about the whole experience again.

‘Midnight Rider‘ producers and Gregg Allman are facing a new injury lawsuit.
Antonyia Verna says the February 20th train incident that killed Sarah Jones left her with serious physical injuries and traumatic stress disorder.
Makeup artist Antonyia Verna is the latest crew member to file a lawsuit over injuries connected to a train collision during the making of the Gregg Allman movie, Midnight Rider.
In a Georgia county court, Verna has added her complaint to the one previously filed by the parents of Sarah Jones, a camera assistant killed in that February 20th incident, and hairstylist Joyce Gilliard.
Verna is suing Allman himself, as well as Charles Baxter, the location manager, Unclaimed Freight Productions, Open Road Films and other supervising personnel on the film.
According to the lawsuit, Midnight Riderproducers did not get permission to film on the trestle bridge and concealed that from the rest of the lawsuit. The lawsuit continues to allege that defendants failed to take minimum safety precautions and failed to comply with applicable industry standards.
The Hollywood Reporter points out that this is a negligence claim and that producers chose a dangerous filming location.
This being a negligence claim, Verna’s attorneys spell out the alleged lack of precautions taken by Midnight Rider filmmakers, including selecting an “unreasonably dangerous site for the filming location,” failing to “station safety personnel,” failing to station “look-out” individuals to watch for an approaching train, failing to “hold a safety meeting prior to filming,” failing to “have an on-site medic present,” and so forth.
Crew members were told that they had “60 seconds to remove themselves” but the train came faster than 60 seconds and there was not enough time. Verna says the injures she suffered include “serious physical injuries, medical and other necessary expenses, post-traumatic stress, mental anguish, lost income, and mental and physical pain and suffering.”

Dr. Mehmet Oz talked before the U.S. Senate subcommittee where he was questioned for saying a weight-loss product, “a miracle in a bottle.”
One of the products he was grilled about is Pure Green Coffee, which has been promoted online using clips from the Dr. Oz. Dr. Oz has said he has asked them not to use his name and/or make it appear he had endorsed their product, even if he did say favorable things about it on his show.
According to WebMD, Pure Green Coffee has the following side effects:
Abnormally high levels of homocysteine. Consuming a high dose of chlorogenic acid for a short duration has caused increased plasma homocysteine levels, which may be associated with conditions such as heart disease.
Anxiety disorders: The caffeine in green coffee might make anxiety worse.
Bleeding disorders: There is some concern that the caffeine in green coffee might make bleeding disorders worse.
Diabetes: Some research suggests that caffeine contained in green coffee might change the way people with diabetes process sugar. Caffeine has been reported to cause increases as well as decreases in blood sugar. Use caffeine with caution if you have diabetes and monitor your blood sugar carefully.
Diarrhea: Green coffee contains caffeine. The caffeine in coffee, especially when taken in large amounts, can worsen diarrhea.
Glaucoma: Taking caffeine which is contained in green coffee can increases pressure inside the eye. The increase starts within 30 minutes and lasts for at least 90 minutes.
Heart disease: When taken at high doses over a short time period, a certain component of green coffee may increase the levels of a particular amino acid in the body (known as homocysteine) that is associated with an increased risk of heart disease. Also, other components of green coffee (known as diterpenes) have been associated with increased cholesterol levels, which are also associated with an increased risk of heart disease.
High blood pressure: Taking caffeine found in green coffee might increase blood pressure in people with high blood pressure. However, this effect might be less in people who consume caffeine from coffee or other sources regularly.
High cholesterol. Certain components of unfiltered coffee have been shown to increase cholesterol levels. These components can be found in green coffee as well. However, it is unclear if green coffee can also cause increased cholesterol levels.
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS): Green coffee contains caffeine. The caffeine in coffee, especially when taken in large amounts, can worsen diarrhea and might worsen symptoms of IBS.
Thinning bones (osteoporosis): Caffeine from green coffee and other sources can increase the amount of calcium that is flushed out in the urine. This might weaken bones. If you have osteoporosis, limit caffeine consumption to less than 300 mg per day (approximately 2-3 cups of regular coffee). Taking calciumsupplements may help to make up for calcium that is lost. Postmenopausal women who have an inherited condition that keeps them from processing vitamin D normally, should be especially cautious when using caffeine.
He was reprimanded by the Senate Subcommittee for Consumer Protection for “melding medical advice, news and entertainment in a way that harms consumers.”

“I recognize that my enthusiastic language has made the problem worse at times,” Oz said in a statement after the hearing made headlines.
“For years I felt that because I did not sell any products that I could be enthusiastic in my coverage,” Oz said in his post-hearing statement, “and I believe the research surrounding the products I cover has value. I took part in today’s hearing because I am accountable for my role in the proliferation of these scams and I recognize that my enthusiastic language has made the problem worse at times.”
This is not the first time Dr. Oz was in trouble. Previously, he considered himself as a “cheerleader” for the audience and that he does not actually endorse any of the products he talks about on his TV show, so he should not be held responsible for what is said online when his name is used without his permission.
In Washington, D.C., Senator Claire McCaskill chairwoman of the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Product Safety and Insurance told the Dr. Oz that, “The scientific community is almost monolithic against you in terms of the efficacy of the three products you called ‘miracles.’ ” She said his endorsements gave viewers “false hope,” whether intentional or not.
“As a physician,” said an article published by the Daily Beast on June 14, “Dr. Oz’s credentials are truly impressive. He is the vice-chairman of surgery at one of the nation’s top medical schools, after all. But somewhere along the way he decided that his fame was more important than his credibility.”
We recently spoke to an Internal Medicine physician who received a patient that was suffering from muscle inflammation. He commented that her muscles were breaking down. The patient later admitted she was taking a supplement promoted by Dr. Oz.
Dr. Oz has said that he plans on toning down his language on the show even though he really believes the supplements do work.

A stuntwoman who was burned on the set of SyFy’s ‘FaceOff’ is suing the series and other companies for lost wages, medical expenses and damages.
In the civil complaint filed this week, Tamiko Brownlee claims she was “severely burned over multiple parts of her body” when “a propane ‘popper’ and/or ‘woofer’” exploded on the set and she was “surrounded and consumed by a fireball.” Defendants include Syfy Media Productions, Mission Control Media, T-Minus Productions and HollywoodStuntCoordinator.com.
The suit says Brownlee “in her participation of said production of Face Off did not know, was not advised, did not consent, assume and/or agree to participate in any way, manner and/or capacity in said television production with any defendant named herein where here person and/or body would be and/or run the risk of being burned.”
Face Offis an reality television game show on the Syfy channel in which a group of prosthetic makeup artists compete against each other to create prostheses such as those found in science fiction and horror films. The Wachowskis, the family that brought you The Matrix, comes Sense8, a secretive new Netflix series.
The new series is collaborated with Babylon 5‘s J. Michael Stracynski. According to TV Line, Sense8 will focus on eight characters from across the world, all connected by a very violent vision.
Each episode — shot in the UK, Seoul, Mumbai, Nairobi, Berlin, Mexico City, San Francisco and Chicago — will follow the characters’ separate stories, even as one entity tries to bring the octet together and another tries to kill them.
The eight dreams include “a closeted Mexican telenovela hunk, an Icelandic party girl, a German safe-cracker, a Korean businesswoman, an African bus driver and a transgender American blogger.”
A vision will most likely connect these characters. According to Io9, there are two visionaries who try to connect all of these people together. “The two sound like the yin and yang to this “vision.” One character is named Jonas, an African-American character who is allegedly the good guy. And his evil counterpart is named “Mr. Whispers.” One of them wants to unite the eight dreamers, the other wants to destroy them.”

Cinemax has released a trailer to the new series, ‘The Knick’ and it’s pretty exciting
Steven Soderberg is best known for directing critically acclaimed commercial Hollywood films like Out of Sight, Erin Brockovich, Traffic and Contagion, and the remake of Ocean’s Eleven has recently been working on a new TV series for Cinemax.
The new series, The Knick centers on Knickerbock Hospital and the groundbreaking surgeons, nurses and staff who push the limits of medicine in a time where there was an incredibly high mortality rate and zero antibiotics.
André Holland, Eve Hewson, Juliet Rylance, Jeremy Bobb, Michael Angarano, Chris Sullivan, Cara Seymour, Eric Johnson, David Fierro, Maya Kazan, Leon Addison Brown and Matt Frewer round out the ensemble cast.
We posted a casting call several months ago looking for extras to appear in the series. At that point in time there were few details surrounding the production.

Jared Leto is in talks to replace Will Smith in the upcoming movie ‘Brilliance’.
In what would be Jared Leto‘s first major performance after winning the Academy Award for best supporting actor for Dallas Buyers Club, Deadline reports that Jared Leto is in early talks to star in the upcoming feature film Brilliance.

Brilliance is Legendary Pictures version of Marcus Sakey‘s novel by the same name. Noomi Rapace has been attached to play the lead actress in the movie.
This is the same role that Will Smith backed out of after choosing to work on the upcoming Sony feature film about the effect of concussions on football players.
Brilliance centers on a world where a rare set of people are born with extraordinary abilities and are called “brilliants.” The movie revolves around a federal agent with great hunting gifts who is drafted to track down a terrorist, another brilliant who is planning to start a civil war.
Previously, Russell Crowe was tapped to star in the movie. But, Crowe decided to back out of the production.
We recently posted a casting call seeking child actors to play Will Smith’s daughter. There is no word as to whether the casting call is still ongoing. We will keep you updated.

Just to give you a heads up, the videos get pretty gory. Ridiculously gory.
In movies, a lot of characters die on screen, but only a few characters get to die in an over the top ridiculous fashion. But, even fewer were able to make to this top ten list.
The video features classics such as Zoolander, Scream, Nightmare on Elm Street, and even Final Destination.

Meg Ryan is now casting speaking roles and holding an open casting call for several roles in the upcoming feature film, “Ithaca”.
William Saroyan‘s 1943 novel “The Human Comedy“, “Ithaca” will center on life on a small California town during World War II. The movie will center on a teenage boy who is forced to take care of his younger siblings and widowed mother while is older brother is abroad fighting in the war.
“‘Ithaca’ is a deceptively simple story, by turns stark and lyrical,” Ryan said in a statement. “It’s sometimes shockingly unsentimental and yet, by some little miracle, never cynical. I am delighted to no end to bring a tale of such vibrancy and heart to the screen.”
Tom Hanks is expected to executive produce this production. This will be reunion for the two actors. Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks worked together in the 1990’s on the hit movie “You’ve Got Mail“.

‘Untitled Armor Car (Loomis Fargo)’ starring Zach Galifianakis posted a casting call for a featured role in the movie.
The movie centers on the 1997 Loomis Fargo warehouse robbery that occurred in Charlotte, North Carolina where a night guard at an armored car company organizes one of the biggest bank heists in history.
Galifianakis plays a disgruntled armored car driver who teams up with a pretty co-worker and a group of inexperienced criminals to steal nearly $20 million from a bank vault. The thieves leave a trail of evidence as they go on an excessive spending spree buying mansions, sports cars and boats. To add insult to injury, the driver’s team double-cross him and leave him alone on the run in Mexico while they live the good life in the United States.
