Months after filming scenes and issuing casting calls in Atlanta, Georgia, a massive “Avengers: Endgame” footage has leaked online days before the movie’s premiere date.
Marvel fans beware, spoilers are leaking on social media. Disney has kept the movie a secret for months. THose who have viewed the clip are calling it “spoiler heavy.” Screenshots, gifs, short clips, and detailed posts about what occurred during the clip are already surfacing on Twitter and Reddit.
According to CNBC, it is likely the person behind the leak had clearance to view the footage ahead of the movie’s premiere. While the leak will not stop fans from seeing the film on its opening weekend, it is a shocking moment for Disney after the company has worked so hard on keeping the production a secret and details about the movie from getting out early.
“Avengers: Endgame” is the 22nd Marvel Cinematic Universe film and is expected to give an ending to the events of “Infinity War,” where half of the heroes disappeared. It will also be the last film for several of Marvel’s most iconic characters.
It is essential to note presale tickets to “Avengers: Endgame” sold nearly twice as many tickets on Atom Tickets as “Aquaman,” “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” and “Captain Marvel” combined, CNBC reports.
