About Raising Dion:
Raising Dion is a superhero drama series, which premiered on October 4, 2019. The series is based on the 2015 comic book and short film. In January 2020, Netflix renewed the series for a second season.
The series centers around a woman named Nicole who raises her son Dion after the death of her husband Mark. The show focuses on the challenges of being a single mother while her son starts developing superhero abilities. Nicole must keep her son’s gifts secret with the help of Mark’s best friend Pat, and protect Dion from people out to exploit him to determine the origin of his abilities.
The series is executive produced by Michael B. Jordan, Carol Barbee, Charles D. King, Kim Roth, Poppy Hanks, Kenny Goodman, Dennis Liu, Seith Mann, and Michael Green.

Principal Casting:
According to IMDB, Christine Kromer from Alexa L. Fogel Casting is the casting director for Raising Dion. Kromer is known for her work on True Detective (2014), The First Purge (2018) and The A-Team (2010).
Raising Dion is a big project; casting directors are mostly contacting actors to work on the film through talent agencies. Filming: Thurs 5/13 & Fri 5/14 & Sat 5/15 & Thurs 5/20 & Fri 5/21 & Sat 5/22 [ALL OVERNIGHTS] (MUST BE AVAILABLE ALL 6 FILMING DATES + 2 covid test dates]
Filming Location: Location: Hiram, GA – 30 mins west of Atlanta
Rate: $100/10 ($25 for your pre-employment covid test)
Elizabeth is looking for a couple more physically fit men and women 18+ to portray Infected / Zombie Like. You will be in masks & gloves for the duration of filming. You MUST BE COMFORTABLE RUNNING (you will be running for multiple nights, through multiple takes must be able to have the stamina to keep up!) and staying active through multiple overnight shoots. All ethnicities and gender portrayals welcome to apply!
You do NOT need to be registered at Central Casting but must be able to complete an I-9 before work.
Must pass COVID test to work. Even if you test negative, you are not confirmed for work unless we send you details confirming shoot day. Masks are required at ALL TIMES unless filming
