Non-union, half-day rate: $200 

CASTING CALL – SEEKING AUCKLAND-BASED CHINESE GIRL AGED 5-7 YRS (To play 5-year-old character).

This is for a NZ short film, shooting in Auckland for two days in October this year.

Payment for the child cast in this role is $900.

Role:

• 5-year-old girl.
• She’s still a young, optimistic child, full of potential and zest for life. She’s a cheeky kid who loves running around, dancing, and lollies.

RATE:

• Lead role: $500 per day (very specific)
• Background (BG) and Supporting roles: $300 per day

CHARACTER LIST:

• Caucasian Male (30-45): White, thin, pale, and gaunt. Can portray multiple ages with aging effects, wigs, and facial hair.
• Male (18-28): Fit, thin, handsome, with a hard edge and kind eyes. Long hair, clean-shaven.
• Caucasian Male (40-50): Long hair, big beard, resembling an older Jesus Christ. Bulky build from weights and poor diet. Kind eyes with restrained anger and rage.
• Caucasian Male (mid-30s): White, fit, with a short-cropped/shaved head and a tall, chiseled cop appearance. No-nonsense attitude.
• Caucasian Male (30s): Brown hair, nerdy with a quick temper, and a goatee.
• Caucasian Male (45-60): Tall, thin, and distinguished-looking.
• Caucasian Male (40-50): Cop with a balding head and a beard. Stocky build.
• Caucasian Male (30s): Thin, big curly hair, and a mustache.
• White Male (30s): Thin, long hair, and a mustache. A bit of a hippy. The youngest brother.
• Caucasian Male (25-30): Tall, athletic, and preppy.
• Caucasian Female (20-25): Brownish auburn hair, a sweet face, big friendly eyes that exude wisdom beyond her years.

• MINOR Caucasian Female (6-8): Brown hair, small stature, not overly “adorable.” Must feel like a real person rather than a child performer.

• Caucasian Male (35-50): No-nonsense traditional cop with a good head of hair. Stern and mostly emotionless, with a mustache.

Pay is $1200 flat rate per person for 1 shoot day 12/20 — 2/26) and $300 for location if we are filming in your home!
