“Incautious” Plot Summary: 

A stay-at-home mother struggles to watch over her children as she finds herself addicted to alcohol and other drugs.  A broken man takes out his anguish on his wife and children. 

Goals for the Project: 

I am trying to create a slow burning, tense, thought provoking, dramedy story with very complex characters that convey a wide range of emotions. In addition to giving extensive verbal notes during rehearsals, I provide in-depth written character notes regarding their past along with a Scene-by-Scene analysis for each character.  I possess a very close attention to detail and specific vision regarding my characters. I am a very calm person who will never yell at actors/actresses or crew and will treat everyone with the most respect.

Breakdown: 

Kristen Briggs (Jimmy and Katie’s Dad) (Female)- 20’s-60’s (Lead): 

Kind and warm on the inside, but loud, angry, impatient and intense on the surface, Kristen can be quite intimidating, particularly while being pushed into a corner by her husband Clyde.  She has strong body posture, a loud voice and one of the most intense screams imaginable.

Calm, quiet and quite agreeable, but also blunt and ill-tempered at times, Matt is a very easygoing guy who prioritizes keeping others around him happy but will put his foot down when needed and is the last person who you want to start a fight with.  He has strong body posture, eye contact, and he speaks slowly and calmly.

Warm, upbeat and friendly, but also a bit neurotic and emotional (which becomes heightened when she is under the influence of alcohol or other substances), Jennifer gets along with most of her peers and always does her best to make sure that everyone around her is taken care of.  She has strong body posture, speaks at a normal pace and smiles often.

A major Christmas stage production is seeking talented dancers for an exciting international performance in Cairo, Egypt. Rehearsals will take place in Manchester, making this an ideal opportunity for performers who are local to the area and ready to take part in a high-energy holiday show. This role is perfect for dancers who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy travel, and are eager to showcase their skills on an international stage.

A high-end fashion production is casting male and female runway models for the premiere of a new runway show in Atlanta. This open call is for confident, experienced, or aspiring models who meet strict height and size requirements and are ready to walk in a polished, fashion-forward presentation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Walk the runway in designer looks with strong, confident presence

  • Take direction from the casting and creative teams

  • Present clean, polished movement that highlights garments

  • Arrive camera-ready and in the requested casting dress code

A scripted TV series is holding an Atlanta background casting call for men to portray uniformed police officers and gala security. Production is seeking new faces who have not yet worked this block on the show. Talent must be able to work as local hires in the Atlanta, GA area. This is a great opportunity for background actors interested in police officer extras work, TV security roles, and steady on-set experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray uniformed police officers and gala security in various scenes

  • Follow direction from the assistant directors and background team

  • Hit marks and maintain continuity across multiple takes

  • Wear provided uniforms and gear comfortably for long periods

  • Maintain a professional, conservative appearance on camera

  • Arrive on time for both the fitting and the filming day

Requirements

  • Male background talent, ages 20–50
