“Incautious” Plot Summary:
A stay-at-home mother struggles to watch over her children as she finds herself addicted to alcohol and other drugs. A broken man takes out his anguish on his wife and children.
Goals for the Project:
I am trying to create a slow burning, tense, thought provoking, dramedy story with very complex characters that convey a wide range of emotions. In addition to giving extensive verbal notes during rehearsals, I provide in-depth written character notes regarding their past along with a Scene-by-Scene analysis for each character. I possess a very close attention to detail and specific vision regarding my characters. I am a very calm person who will never yell at actors/actresses or crew and will treat everyone with the most respect.
Breakdown:
Katie Briggs (Female)-8-18 (Lead):
Cool, calm and very passionate about sports, Katie often hangs out with the boys and can more than handle her own on the sports field. She laughs and smiles often but rarely conveys much emotion beyond that.

Fun, loud, energetic and passionate, but also a bit selfish and emotional at times, Jimmy is often the center of attention as he shares his hobbies and interests with his wide circle of friends, especially Mark. He speaks quickly and is very animated with his facial expressions and hand gestures.

Sharp, intelligent and full of personality, Clyde is fierce and charismatic, but his negative outlook on life, impatient attitude and horrible temper often alienate himself from others. He speaks very fast and loudly.

Kind and loyal, but stubborn and defensive, Mark is a great ally to those he cares about but can be hostile when bullied into a corner. He speaks calmly and slowly, unless he feels that he is being attacked, in which the volume and speed of his voice increase drastically.

She has strong body posture, speaks at a normal pace and smiles often.
