A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and track key KPIs across individual platforms and in aggregate

  • Maintain data sets

  • Organize all social media posts, ensuring consistent tagging and facilitating data retrieval

  • Track, analyze, and update the team on competitor performance and practices

  • Assist with special requests for social media post analytics collection

  • Assist with preparing weekly presentations

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Experience with presentation platforms like PowerPoint, Canva, or Slides preferred

  • Video production experience and knowledge of Adobe Premiere preferred

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $55,500.00-60,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. **Job Responsibilities:**

+ Package social media content for the Virtual Reali-Tea and Page Six accounts spanning Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and more.

+ Create short-form vertical videos, memes and engagement posts.

+ Film, edit and post raw video footage from podcast episodes, live events and TV into polished, engaging content suitable for social media platforms. Ensure videos adhere to platform-specific requirements and best practices.

+ Engage with fans on Virtual Reali-Tea social accounts by replying to comments across social platforms, sending Whatsapp channel messages and more.

**The ideal candidate will have/be:**

+ Experience in content creation.

Overview & Responsibilities:

The Social Media Producer will play a major role in programming the @CBSSportsCFB and @CBSSportsCBB accounts on Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, and Facebook. Whether covering CBS broadcast, CBS Sports Network, Paramount+, or non-CBS programming, they will be the voice of these brands during major moments in college sports! In addition to covering live games and studio shows, they will closely collaborate with the production team to extend our on-air presence to social!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Cover CBS Sports college football and basketball games live on social media
  • Optimize and distribute segments from college studio shows to all platforms
  • Work with designers and video editors to react to major news across the college sports landscape
  • Create photoshops and video from scratch via Adobe Creative Suite Products when necessary
  • Sit in studio every week, shoot original content with CFB + CBB talent
  • Build and carryout weekly promotional plans for CBS Sports College Football and Basketball programming
  • Act as a key point of contact for college sports social with various departments, including Programming, Marketing, and Communications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Extreme passion for college sports, especially basketball
  • At least 2 years experience managing Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, and Facebook accounts
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Communications, Sports Media, or a related field

Hiring Salary Range: $58,700.00 – 70,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Your Responsibilities:

  • Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand

  • Monitors, posts to, and analyzes social media channels to build a community of followers and enhance interaction.

  • Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements

  • Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
  • Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
  • Help support the team in learning best practices to build a substantial social media presence.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $27-30. Your day-to-day:

  • Execute a comprehensive social media strategy for multiple social media platforms that aligns with overall brand objectives and target audiences.
  • Continuously monitor, track, and analyze social media metrics to optimize performance and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices, to continually incorporate new approaches into our social media strategy.
  • Assist in brainstorming and executing innovative marketing ideas, including giveaways, contests, and collaborations.
  • Collaborate: You are a self-starter and a fountain of ideas, but also know that successful execution requires managing multiple projects cross-functionally, taking in and prioritizing requests from across the organization, and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Content Creation: You will concept, develop, produce and edit engaging content that resonates with our audience across key channels, staying ahead of trends and features to ensure relevancy.   • Reporting: Assist with weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reporting to track against our company and department goals.
