JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox News Media is looking for a highly organized individual with exceptional attention to detail to join our growing social media team. The ideal candidate thrives in managing data and performance tracking with precision and consistency. This candidate ensures 100% accuracy in data collection and publishing content to social platforms. Proven experience in creating and following structured workflows is essential.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and track key KPIs across individual platforms and in aggregate

  • Maintain data sets

  • Organize all social media posts, ensuring consistent tagging and facilitating data retrieval

  • Track, analyze, and update the team on competitor performance and practices

  • Assist with special requests for social media post analytics collection

  • Assist with preparing weekly presentations

  • Use appropriate AI tools to inform analyses and decisions

  • Upload content to all social media platforms

  • Identify issues with social media platforms and work with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve them

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Experience with social media and news

  • Experience with data entry and manipulation using Excel or Google Sheets

  • Experience with presentation platforms like PowerPoint, Canva, or Slides preferred

  • Video production experience and knowledge of Adobe Premiere preferred

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $55,500.00-60,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Overview & Responsibilities:

The Social Media Producer will play a major role in programming the @CBSSportsCFB and @CBSSportsCBB accounts on Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, and Facebook. Hiring Salary Range: $58,700.00 – 70,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
