Video Producer/Videographer/Multimedia Specialist, Marketing

This position is eligible for remote work. Regular travel to Heartland Dental’s Effingham, Illinois Support office is required.
You will be part of a team that develops a wide variety of video and multimedia content that engages with key audiences including dentists, team members and potential talent. Reporting to the head of creative, you will be a key driver of department performance.
The ideal candidate will own the production process from start to finish: conceptualizing, coordinating, writing, shooting and editing. The content you’ll create includes inspirational event content, customer testimonials, promotional branding videos, social media posts, eLearning – virtual, interactive e-lessons, instructional, gamification and animation. You will also help source and engage with outside freelance resources as needed.
This is a pivotal role in which the candidate will help shape the future of the multimedia team. As a leader on the team you will need a high-level knowledge of video strategy with varying techniques and experiences. You’ll also need to be a highly creative self-starter, who can create media content on his/her own, from pitch through publish. Writing and shooting skills are required, as are advanced skills for editing. Sound editorial judgment and creativity are a must, as is the ability to maintain a deadline. You’ll also be responsible for:
- Maintaining a video content calendar with ideas that support brand marketing goals
- Producing videos from start to finish: conceptualizing, working with subject matter experts to storyboard scripts, coordinating, writing, shooting and editing
- Identify visual learning opportunity, conduct needs analyses, design video learning solutions and develop short-term and long-term strategy
- Pre-production: Develop video treatments and scripts that align with brand objectives, coordinate video shoots and acquire releases/permissions as needed
- Production: Organize needed technical requirements to fulfil proposed video treatment. This may include shooting videos using a DSLR; set up sound and lighting and provide direction to on-screen talent as needed, or creating screen captures
- Post-production: Edit videos, including adding motion graphics and cleaning up audio as needed
- Coordinating live stream events and studio spaces
- Documenting and updating procedures
- Managing the organization, archiving and storage of media files.
- Travel to Effingham on a regular and as-needed basis
Here’s what we are looking for in you:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 or more years of experience in a Videographer & Producer role
- 5 years of motion graphic experience and knowledge in planning through production and publishing phases
- 5 years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite including:
- Premiere Pro: Editing footage and applying effects
- After Effects: Motion graphics and compositing
- Adobe CS Illustrator and Photoshop: Creating and editing graphics
- Audition: Editing and enhancing audio tracks
- Media Encoder: Transcoding video footage
- Experience in motion graphics, 3D animation, graphic design and with industry standard software
- Agile, flexible, used to quick demands
- Kind but assertive, proactive, and solution oriented
Technical:

- Mac and PC experience a plus
