A site-specific outdoor production of Death of a Salesman is casting the pivotal role of Linda Loman. As the emotional anchor of the story, Linda is a loving, devoted wife, quietly carrying the weight of her family’s disintegration. This role demands subtlety, strength, and deep emotional intelligence to bring her silent resilience to life in a collaborative ensemble-driven staging.
Job Responsibilities
• Portray Linda Loman with nuance and emotional restraint
• Collaborate with fellow cast members in emotionally intense scenes
• Attend scheduled rehearsals, tech week, and evening performances
• Contribute to a bold, immersive production set in an open-air venue
Requirements
• Theatrical experience in dramatic or character-driven roles
• Ability to express emotional depth through minimal dialogue
• Comfortable performing outdoors in evening conditions
• Available for rehearsals on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (beginning early July)
• Committed to tech week (August 5–11) and performances (August 12–14 evenings)
Compensation

- Comfortable performing emotionally intense scenes
- Must prepare a 1–2 minute dramatic monologue for auditions
- Previous acting experience is preferred but not required
