The story follows the Grim Reaper’s daughter, who faces a profound dilemma between stepping into her father’s role as the next “Death” and her secret longing to be fully alive. This comedic musical requires strong performers with powerful pop vocal abilities to help bring the story to life in this staged reading.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform in a developmental reading of a new musical, embodying dynamic characters with strong emotional depth.
- Deliver powerful vocal performances of pop songs and contribute to the overall musical experience.
- Collaborate with the director, music director, and creative team to help develop the characters and musical material for the production.

The character, Eddie Kendricks, is charismatic, vocal, and an integral part of the story as he contributes significantly to the group’s vocal arrangements and overall dynamics.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the character Eddie Kendricks, reflecting his personality, vocal style, and dance movements.
- Perform complex vocal arrangements and dance routines as part of the ensemble and in solo performances.
- Participate in all rehearsals and performances as scheduled by the tour management.

- Principal Role: $900/week minimum, plus applicable extras.
- Ensemble: $700/week minimum, plus applicable extras.
