We are seeking an individual to fill a role requiring the actor to portray a character who is Russian, within the age range of 20-29 years old. This role is an excellent opportunity for those looking to break into the acting scene, as acting experience is preferred but not a requirement. The chosen candidate will be involved in a project that offers substantial exposure and professional experience in the film industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray a Russian character convincingly in terms of mannerism and language.
- Learn and perform a song in Russian (the song and audio track will be provided; no requirement to be a singer or have a singing background).
- If necessary, be willing to cut hair in a military style and have facial hair removed to fit the character’s appearance.
- Work cooperatively with the director, producers, and other actors to bring the character to life.
- Attend all scheduled rehearsals and be available for the entire shooting schedule.
Requirements:
- Male, identifies as Russian, aged 20-29 years old.
- Must be able to carry a melody (although perfection in singing is not required).
- Must be open to altering appearance to suit the character’s needs as described.
- Available for a tentative 3-day shoot between March 15th and June 1st, 2024, in Montreal, Canada.
- Must adhere to all contractual and directorial directives, including costume and behavior guidelines.
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
- Comfortable with performing in diverse, inclusive settings.
Compensation Details:
- The role is paid. Specific compensation details will be provided upon selection for the role.
- Travel and accommodation expenses for non-local actors will be negotiated if applicable.
