Job Description

A non-union commercial production is hiring experienced crew members for a paid wellness product shoot in Thousand Oaks, California. The client is Just Ingredients, and the production is seeking local crew for a one-day commercial shoot on July 16, 2026.

Multiple crew positions are available across camera, lighting, sound, production, wardrobe, makeup, and production support. Some roles require applicants to provide their own equipment or have access to a rental house.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform duties specific to your selected crew position.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure an efficient commercial shoot.
• Arrive prepared with any required equipment.
• Follow production schedules and safety protocols throughout the filming day.

• Assistant Director (AD)
• Director of Photography (DP) (own equipment or rental house connection required)
• Assistant Camera (AC) (own equipment required)
• Gaffer (own equipment or rental house connection required)
• Key Grip (own equipment or rental house connection required)

• Swing
• Audio (own equipment required)
• Set Decorator
• Wardrobe
• Hair & Makeup Artist (HMUA) (touch-ups; beginners with certification welcome)
• Behind-the-Scenes (BTS)
• Production Assistants (PAs)

Requirements

• Must be able to work as a local hire in Thousand Oaks, CA.
• Non-union crew only.
