The 2026 BET Awards is seeking enthusiastic seat fillers to help maintain an energetic atmosphere during the live awards show in Los Angeles, California. Participants will assist with filling audience seats during performances, commercial breaks, and production transitions while enjoying one of the entertainment industry’s biggest nights. Producers are looking for outgoing fans who are excited about music, entertainment, and live events.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a seat filler during the live awards show
• Move quickly throughout the venue as directed by event staff
• Fill empty audience seats during production breaks and transitions
• Maintain an enthusiastic and professional demeanor throughout the event
• Follow instructions from event coordinators and production personnel
• Help create a full and energetic audience appearance on camera

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Able to move up and down stairs and navigate venue seating quickly
• Enthusiastic about live entertainment and awards shows
• Must follow the event dress code
• Comfortable having cell phones and cameras collected during the event
• Responsible for personal transportation and travel arrangements

Seatfillers and More is seeking seatfillers to attend a major awards show event for the Movies for Grownups Awards. This opportunity allows selected participants to be part of a high-profile awards ceremony attended by A-list celebrities. Seatfillers help ensure the audience appears full during live segments of the show.

This is a volunteer opportunity that includes free admission to the event.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a seatfiller during the awards ceremony.

• Be prepared to move quickly and quietly to assigned seats as directed by staff.

• Maintain professional behavior and formal appearance throughout the event.

• Stand for periods of time and walk up and down stairs without assistance.

Requirements

• Must be 30 years or older.

• Must be able to follow directions from event staff.

• Must wear formal attire (gown or suit and tie; dark colors only; no hats; not flashy or revealing).

• Must be physically able to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Each person may submit for themselves and one additional guest only.
