Job Description
A live event production is seeking an energetic mascot performer to bring a well-known brand character to life at an upcoming Chicago event. This is a great opportunity for performers with strong physical acting skills who enjoy engaging with audiences and delivering high-energy performances in costume. The role involves embodying a fun, lively character and creating an entertaining experience for event attendees.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform as a mascot character during a live event
- Engage with attendees through expressive, high-energy movement
- Maintain character performance throughout the event
- Follow direction from event coordinators and production staff
- Perform comfortably while wearing a full mascot costume
Requirements
- Height of 5’10” or taller
- High energy, expressive personality, and strong physical performance skills
- Experience in mascot, costume, or live performance preferred
- Comfortable performing in a full costume for extended periods
- Ability to embody a playful and engaging character
Compensation
- $350 for approximately 4 hours (half-day rate)
- Breaks provided during performance
