Job Description
A dramatic reenactment segment for an investigative documentary is seeking a Russian-speaking actor to play a Soviet translator. This role involves portraying a translator responsible for converting lectures from English to Russian during a high-stakes scientific conference. The ideal candidate will bring believability, focus, and a subtle authoritative presence.
Job Responsibilities

Portray a Soviet translator in a reenacted conference scene

Translate lines from English to Russian within the scripted performance

Deliver lines naturally in Russian with professionalism and clarity

Participate in a single-day shoot under director guidance
Requirements

Male, age 20–50

Must be fluent in Russian (Ukrainian background also accepted if fluent in Russian)

Strong verbal communication and camera presence

Submit a self-tape audition including a slate with name, role, and location

Include a headshot, full body photo, resume, and reel (if available)

Include three personal facts in the self-tape and note any dialect being used
Compensation

Paid day player rate (minimum $225, no travel)
