A nonprofit documentary is casting non-speaking background roles for a project filming in and around Birmingham, Alabama. Casting directors are seeking African American and White performers across multiple age groups to help tell an inspiring story through authentic visual storytelling. Job Responsibilities
- Portray assigned background roles in documentary reenactment scenes.
- Follow direction from the production team.
- Maintain professionalism throughout filming.

Requirements
- Seeking the following talent:
- African American boys, ages 6–9 and 10–11.
- African American teenage boys, ages 14–19.
- African American girls, ages 4–7 and 5–11.
- African American teenage girls, ages 14–19.
- African American woman, ages 21–25.
- African American woman, age 60+.
- African American man, ages 40–55.
- White boys, ages 6–9 and 10–11.
- White girl, ages 5–8.
- White woman, ages 21–25.
- Must be available to work in the Birmingham, Alabama area.
Compensation

An untitled documentary about kids and cinema is casting two young boys for a short filmed segment in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. The documentary will feature children talking naturally about their experiences going to the movies and their thoughts about cinema. The production is open to child actors, models, as well as kids without professional experience who are comfortable speaking and appearing on camera.
Job Responsibilities
- Appear in a short documentary segment about kids and cinema.
- Talk naturally on camera about going to the movies.
- Follow simple direction from the production team.
- Participate comfortably in an approximately 30-minute filming session.
Requirements
- Boys ages 8 and under.
- Must be based in the Los Angeles area.
- Must be comfortable speaking and appearing on camera.
- Child actors, models, and children without professional experience are welcome.
- Non-union opportunity.
