A nonprofit documentary is casting non-speaking background roles for a project filming in and around Birmingham, Alabama. Casting directors are seeking African American and White performers across multiple age groups to help tell an inspiring story through authentic visual storytelling. Job Responsibilities

• Portray assigned background roles in documentary reenactment scenes.

Job Description
A feature film is now casting 15 Alabama men to bring authentic school pride and energy to an upcoming shoot in Birmingham. If you’ve got the spirit, a great look, and love being on camera, this is your chance to shine in a fun and exciting production.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear on camera as part of a spirited crowd scene

• Bring genuine enthusiasm and energy to set

Requirements

• Male talent based in Alabama

• Must be available for both filming days

• Comfortable being on camera and bringing high energy

Commercial Casting Call – Birmingham, AL

Job Detail: We are seeking talented individuals to cast in commercial filming on Saturday, August 12, 2023, in the Metro Birmingham area, Alabama. This commercial will be used for one year and broadcast on television within Alabama markets and on the web, social media, and digital platforms.

Job Responsibilities: Selected talent will be expected to portray their roles convincingly and professionally for the commercial shoot. They must follow the director’s instructions, deliver lines if required, and express emotions to bring the commercial’s narrative to life.

Requirements:

1. Mom:

   • Gender: Female

   • Age Range: 30’s to 40’s
   • Must have a warm and relatable demeanor, able to portray a caring and nurturing character.

2. Son:

   • Should have a charming and endearing presence, capable of displaying natural emotions for a young character.

3. Ombudsman:

   • Gender: Female
   • Ethnicity: Black
   • Age Range: 50’s to 60’s
   • We are looking for a professional and authoritative presence who can exude wisdom and experience through their performance.

Compensation: Selected talent will be compensated with $750 per talent for the day of filming. The usage rights will cover one year, and the commercial will be used on television exclusively for the Alabama market. Additionally, the commercial will be featured on the state’s web, social media, and digital platforms.
