Casting Call for Camera Crew – Short Film “The Intention”

Job Description

A young filmmaker based in Staffordshire, UK is seeking camera operators and an assistant camera (2nd AC) to join the crew for a short film titled “The Intention.” The project will be submitted to the Into Film Competition in England and offers a great opportunity for young creatives to gain hands-on filmmaking experience in a supportive, student-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate camera equipment during filming under the direction of the filmmaker.

• Assist with camera setup, focus pulling, and equipment maintenance.

• Collaborate with other crew members to ensure smooth shooting days.

• Support the creative vision of the project and maintain professionalism on set.

Requirements

• Age Range: 16–19 years old

• Based in or able to travel to Stoke-on-Trent, England

• Passionate about filmmaking and cinematography

• Team-oriented with good communication skills

• Previous camera experience preferred but not required
