Job Description

A paid action short film is casting two Assistant Camera (1st AC) professionals to support Camera A and Camera B during production in the Los Angeles area. The production is looking for dependable camera crew members who thrive in fast-paced filming environments and have a strong understanding of camera operations. You’ll work closely with the Director of Photography and camera team to help maintain efficient workflows and deliver high-quality cinematic footage throughout the shoot.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the camera department during production.
• Prepare and maintain camera equipment.
• Support focus pulling and camera organization.
• Coordinate with the Director of Photography and camera crew.
• Help ensure efficient camera operations throughout filming.

Requirements

• Two Assistant Camera (1st AC) positions available.
• One opening for Camera A and one for Camera B.
• Previous camera department experience preferred.
• Organized, dependable, and collaborative.
