Senior Broadcast Production Runner
Job Description
A major sports broadcast production is seeking an experienced Runner II to support operations and production teams during a live professional football broadcast. This opportunity is ideal for seasoned production professionals with extensive live event experience who can assist with logistics, crew coordination, and operational support for a remote sports broadcast.
The selected candidate will help ensure smooth event execution by supporting production staff, coordinating logistics, and assisting with critical broadcast-related responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Support operations and production teams during a live sports broadcast
- Run errands and deliver production materials as needed
- Coordinate announcer arrivals and departures
- Distribute information to crew members and production staff
- Assist with show-related logistics and event operations
- Check in and out daily with the operations team
- Execute production support duties as assigned
- Maintain flexibility in a fast-paced live event environment
Requirements
- Must live within 100 miles of the event location
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license required
- Minimum of 8 shows worked as a regional-level runner in live remote productions
- Reliable cellphone, text, and email communication
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Positive attitude and proactive work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic broadcast operations
- Familiarity with the local area and venue preferred
- Ability to lead and support other runners when necessary
