Runner
Job Description
Support a professional live sports broadcast for the Denver @ Kansas City matchup in Kansas City, Missouri. The Runner will work closely with production and operations personnel to keep behind-the-scenes activities moving efficiently. From handling time-sensitive errands and delivering materials to assisting with announcer coordination, this role is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, and ready to contribute wherever needed during a fast-paced remote broadcast.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist production and operations teams with essential on-site support.
- Complete errands and time-sensitive assignments throughout the production.
- Distribute information, materials, and supplies to appropriate crew members.
- Help coordinate announcer arrivals, departures, and related logistics.
- Respond quickly to requests from production personnel.
- Maintain clear communication with the crew throughout the assignment.
- Adapt to changing priorities and take on additional show-related duties.
- Help maintain an efficient workflow during live broadcast operations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Previous Runner, Production Assistant, or similar production experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills via phone, text, and email.
- Ability to follow instructions and manage assignments independently.
- Dependable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of broadcast production operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with Kansas City and the surrounding venue area is beneficial.
- Must live within approximately 100 miles of the event site.
Compensation
