JOB DESCRIPTIONÂ
Alt Ethos is looking for an innovative, reliable, passionate Associate Producer whose key skills lie in creative coding and physical interactive installations. This position will work closely with our Experiential Producer on exciting projects such as custom fully immersive experiences, augmented robot gaming tables, and permanent interactive outdoor projection mapping. The Associate Producer will design, implement, and support creative technical designs for our unique permanent and temporary installation.
Skills required include the ability to work closely with designers, technologists, game designers, fabricators, and artists to produce Alt Ethos Signature Experiences. This will include interactive, projection, LED, sound, and moving parts. This position requires a passion for innovation and creation, high attention to detail, keen sense of sustainable hardware and software systems. You’ll be involved with our team from ideation to installation and maintenance.
The ideal candidate is someone who is constantly creating, tinkering, and producing interactive designs. You have experience working independently and on a team with both temporary and permanent installation experience.Â
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSÂ
- Experience designing and developing interactive real-time experiences in various programming languages (MaxMSP, TouchDesigner, vvvv )Â
- Experience designing and developing physical interactive installations using sensors
- Demonstrated experience in the entertainment, public art, or marketing industries
- Implement working prototypes using a broad range of computational technologies
- Keep up with evolving trends, technologies, and best practices
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- A link to an online portfolio showcasing your work (include a link on your resume)
COMPETENCIES
- At least 3+ years of experience with creative coding and creating interactive installations.
- Effective time management and meeting deadlines with accuracy.
- High level of planning and organization including knowledge of file naming protocols.
- Solution-Oriented seeing every challenge as an opportunity.
- Communicates clearly and thoughtfully through reporting and with Supervisor
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines
