The Senior Director, Marketing Alchemee will serve as Alchemee’s brand marketing architect and the authority on aesthetic, tone and messaging across all channels. Will be responsible for the overall consumer brand experience. This person will lead and manage a team of marketers and external agencies to tell our story and create enticing, consistent campaigns that will be directly relayed to consumers via online and offline channels and retail partners. This position will partner closely with the Direct-to Consumer team, the Retail Sales team, and work closely with a selected Creative and PR Agencies representing the category

This person has a passion for bringing best practices into the business while actively sharing business perspectives, knowledge and lessons learned to contribute and support a best-in-class global standard.
Essential Functions
- Lead internal and external teams to design inspiring marketing campaigns, content and press that drives traffic and increases sales via new customer acquisition, repeat sales and retention (DTC and omnichannel).
- Implement short-term and long-term marketing strategies and related policies and procedures for increasing brand awareness and brand positioning.
- Create a marketing roadmap to bring the vision to life for Alchemee’s brands now and in the future and all sub brands.
- Develop and oversee creative briefs and marketing plans.
- Partner with DTC and Retail Sales teams to understand their needs, then manage the development of creative for all digital and offline marketing and sales channels.
- Evolve and support digital strategies by overseeing creative for digital marketing campaigns including: social media, video, display and web as well as email, print collateral, television, podcasts advertising.
- Oversee and build all organic marketing channels and brand communications, including social media, PR etc. as well as management of celebrity talent. Analyze KPIs for all social media creative to understand what is driving visits and conversions and optimize creative as needed.
- Manage and drive the ideal customer experience across all channels and platforms.
- Partner with new product development and future market growth teams.
- Lead go-to-market for new products: partner with cross-functional teams to deliver a holistic GTM plan.
- Develop and execute all editorial content, using research and intuition about the connection between products, brands, channels and human behavior.
- Build and oversee consumer insights and market research to drive better customer experience, brand evolution and new product development.
- Manage and oversee customer testimonials
- Lead the packaging and labeling team to create, optimize and ensure regulatory compliance for all products. Work with international teams to do the same.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field. MBA preferred.
- 8-10 years demonstrated marketing experience in all facets of the creative process, with strong understanding of brand development, multichannel marketing and consumer journey concepts.
- 5 years’ demonstrated experience leading and directing creative teams.
- Possesses an intimate understanding of design, copy and web best practices/guidelines.
- Experience with direct to consumer products within Beauty, Fashion, Food or Home required.
- Experience inspiring, motivating and leading a high performance team. Ability to introduce change effectively, collaborate and lead others in development and implementation of key initiatives.
- Experience with retail brands, including category management, pricing, packaging and in-store and online promotions through retailers
- Global brand marketing experience a plus.
- Solid track record in direct to consumer integrated creative and content, with emphasis in digital campaigns including social media, video, display, web and eCommerce. Email, print collateral, television and radio advertising a plus but not required.
- Prior experience in establishing roadmaps to support company objectives to achieve revenue goals through quality lead generation, using brand recognition and product positioning.
- Strong communication required to collaborate with internal and external copywriters, designers, artists, printers, web experts, photographers and digital media creators.
